Stamp Review Crew | Truly Tailored

With 5 Mondays in April, it’s time for a bonus hop!

The Stamp Review Crew are hopping today with lots of wonderful creations featuring the Truly Tailored stamp set.

This stamp set coordinates with the Tailored Tag Punch, True Gentleman DSP, Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon and True Gentleman Buttons.  We’ll be seeing the tag punch & buttons in the new catalogue, but the rest has made an appearance on the retirement list.  I expect this suite will sell out fast!!!

Don’t forget that our Father’s Day is at a completely different time of the year to the US Father’s Day, which means we don’t usually end up with a good offering of masculine / Father’s Day specific sets by September.  It’s time to plan ahead with your DSP & stamp choices!!!

For this hop I used my favourite page of the True Gentleman DSP – the glasses.  The stamp set has a matching sentiment for a funky & stylish card!

I also love the reverse side of this paper – why do they do that to me???

While I had this paper on my desk, I thought I’d make a more involved card by matching it with glasses from the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set

It required some fussy cutting to get the glasses – but worth it for this fun card!  What a perfect sentiment to from the Truly Tailored stamp set!

You really can’t beat the easy coordination of buying products from a suite put together by the Stampin’ Up! artists.

There’s lots of new suites to look forward to in the new catalogue!

But make sure you don’t miss out on any of your retiring favourites!

Next stop for some more ‘tailor’ made fun is my super stylish friend Lou Kitzelman!

True Gentleman

I always look forward to the masculine theme suite that is released in the Occasions Catalogue.  Last year we played with tools in the Nailed It Suite.

This year it’s all bow ties, combed hair and smart spectacles for the True Gentleman Suite.  Time to create a whole range of ‘dapper’ cards.

Using a whole product suite really makes it easy to whip up designer cards!

Here’s the full range of True Gentleman products…

The coordinating colours are Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Night of Navy, Tranquil Tide & Very Vanilla.

Here’s a couple of cards I’ve made using the products…

The first card uses the punch & DSP to create a tiled background – isn’t it a great shape!!

You can nudge the punched shapes up against each other, or if you prefer, leave a gap like I did so the card base colour comes through too.

There’s so many options within my existing craft stash that coordinate with this suite including the Burlap Ribbon & Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon in Night of Navy..

The second card I’m sharing for today uses the “have a dapper day” stamp from the Truly Tailored stamp set.   I added the ‘birthday’ from the Birthday Wit stamp set – it coordinates so well!!

How awesome is that plaid DSP??

And you’ve got to love the embellishments from this suite – Corduroy Ribbon & True Gentleman wood buttons!

Make sure to order these supplies before May, ready for our Father’s Day in September.  The seasonal offerings don’t line up with the US for Father’s Day, so you’ll need to plan ahead!

Shop 24-7 in my online store.

To see products in action, see the colours and feel the quality, book an in-home workshop.  I can travel anywhere within the greater Bunbury area.

I’d love to craft with you & your friends!
