As we prepare to say goodbye to most of the products in the 2020 Aug – Dec Mini Catalogue, some of our favourites are staying with us. These items will appear in either the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue which launches in May 2021 or the 2021 July-December Mini Catalogue which we’ll see in July 2021. The screenshots below are from the Carryover spreadsheet, which you can download here.
One of the carryover bundles I’m most excited to be keeping for another year is the Love of Leaves stamp set and Stitched Leaves Dies.
I’ve layered here with the Flowers for Every Season DSP (from the current Annual Catalogue).
You can see other cards I made with this bundle – and inspiration from the Stamp Review Crew in a blog hop from earlier in the year. Click here to start with my post and keep clicking until you get back to me again.
Bundles are rarely offered when they change to another catalogue cycle, so if this cute little set is on your wishlist, you’ll want to order it by 4th Jan so you can take advantage of the 10% bundle discount. Click here to view in the online store.
There’s always time for one more online order of 2020!!! (or is that just me avoiding the post Christmas shopping?!?).
Hello! Welcome to November and the first Stamp Review Crew hop for this month. I’m hopping with my lovely stamping friends from around the world. To see the full list of stampers who are participating today, visit the Stamp Review Crew main blog.
Today we’re showcasing the Love of Leaves stamp set and dies from the Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue.
If I’m honest, it was the dies that pulled me in for this bundle. They are beautifully designed with stitching on the outside which shows when you use the leaves for the negative space. And pretty stitching for the middle of the leaves, which add such a lovely level of detail.
I’ve created two cards to share with you today. The first card features the leaves stamped, die cut and layered on the card.
Remember I said how much I loved the dies? Look at the amazing detail of the die along the side of the card. Just magical!
I’ve used Mint Macaron, Just Jade and Crumb Cake for the leaves and layered them on a circle of Just Jade DSP (from the 2020-2022 In Color DSP).
The stamp set has some lovely sentiments – including one of my favourites – “hello”.
The second card wasn’t in my original plans to create but when I saw that the littlest of the leaves looked so much like a heart, this idea was born.
Rather than using the dies, I’ve hand cut the leaf into a heart shape and then added the stitched detail to the middle.
The font of this sentiment really tickles my fancy. I love the happy mix of upper and lower case letters.
Thanks for hopping with us today. To see more projects with this stamp set, please click on the next. Following on from me is the gorgeous Heidi Baks.
