The OnStage 2015 Swaps I received…

Part of the fun of swapping samples at Stampin’ Up! events is getting back lots of gorgeous creations.  I made & gave out 40 little Tic Tac boxes and received lots in return … too many to show them all here.  But I wanted to share a few of my favourites from the day.

If you’d like to find out more about the creators of these lovely designs, I have linked to their Stampin’ Up! page (if they have one) under their project below.  Kelly x

All that Dazzle – Christmas glitter & storage download

I feel like I’ve crossed over to the sparkly side and now there’s no return.  I’ve been finding myself progressively adding more and more glitter, glimmer & sparkle to my projects.  A bit of dazzling details here, some glimmer paper there and don’t even get me started on the metallic finish in the Winter Wonderland paper!

So, with an increase in the glitter products in my stash, I needed a storage option for all my Dazzling Detail bottles (now that I have the whole set … how did that happen?).  They are the same size as the reinkers, so the half size wide cases are perfect match again!!!

Dazzling Details Storage Solution - free printable insert for a half size wide case. All 4 colours fit perfectly. Kelly Kent -

Download the printable insert for Dazzling Details here (correct size for printing = 16.1cm x 8.3cm).

And whilst we are talking about glittery projects, we made this card during Tuesday’s class, with a few sparkly finishing touches…
Lighthearted Leaves - Dazzling Christmas Trees. Kelly Kent -

The Lighthearted Leaves stamp set is firm favourite of mine.  It makes for great Christmas trees, made extra special with a few drops of Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details.

I don’t love all the cards I make (most I do, but not all).  This card went off the ‘love scale’ – I love everything about it.  And I think it was the touch of glitter that clinched it.  Let the sparkle affair continue … Kelly x

ESAD Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop

ESAD Blog Hop Header Holiday 2015

Hello & welcome to another ESAD blog hop.  This one features 24 awesome designers sharing with you their creations using products from the Holiday Catalogue.  If you’ve just come via Barbara’s blog, then keep travelling until you get back there for lots more inspiration along the way.

The 2015 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue has been in circulation for a couple of weeks now and there’s some great ideas on Pinterest.  Given it’s the ‘holiday’ catalogue, lots of the projects are Christmas, Halloween or Thanksgiving themed.  I’m intending on sharing lots more seasonal craft with you between now & Christmas, but for me, sometimes the ideas that spring out of the pages of the catalogue are a little ‘outside the box’.

This was one of them…

When I first saw the Acorn Punch, all I could think of how it would be perfect to make Gumnut Babies.

Snugglepot & Cuddlepie are Australian literary icons that most Aussies will recognise from their childhood.  The author of the Snugglepot & Cuddlepie books, May Gibbs, spent part of her childhood in a town called Harvey which is close to where I live.

So, as much fun as all the Christmas products have been, I wanted to share my super cute gumnut babies with you.

I’ve also made a picture tutorial in case you want to make your own “bush babies”.  They use a few of our wonderful builder punches.  The builder punches are awesome for punch art because of their versatile shapes.

If you’ve spent some time flicking through the holiday catalogue, you might also recognise some other new catalogue goodies in my cards … Lighthearted Leaves stamp set (clear catalogue favourite for me!), Into the Woods DSP & 1/8″ Garden Green Striped Ribbon.

There’s so much to fall in love with.  My holiday catalogue wishlist continues to grow as I see how clever people around the world have used their new products.  This blog hop is no exception!!!

Next stop on the inspiration trail is Jenny Hayward & her lovely holiday creations.
