Social Stamping | April Kits – Parisian Blossoms

I’m starting to design the cards for my May card kits.  Thank you to everyone who purchased the supplies to turn the 5 kits into cards in April.

Be sure to subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss when I release the May kits.  These can be posted Australia wide and include all materials except sentiment stamping and adhesive. Perfect for some stress-free crafting, design/layout inspiration or a little mojo kick-start.

Two of the cards in April’s kits used the Parisian Blossoms DSP and Poppy Moments Dies.  These gorgeous products are available in the Jan-June Mini Catalogue, but some only until the 2nd June. All the DSP retires, so if you have a favourite, be sure to stock up before the new catalogue (and new DSP) starts on 3rd June.

It’s no secret that I love DSP and love using it on cards.  One of my favourite things to do to add an easy wow factor is to slice a larger piece into equal panels (usually 3).

The dimensions for the DSP on this card are 3-3/8″ x 2-3/4″ and cut across the 3-3/8″ side into three equal segments of 1-1/8″.

This card features a Sahara Sand base (one of my favourite Neutrals) and Petal Pink flowers with Champagne Foil accents.  The DSP colours are Petal Pink and Pool Party.

I’ve used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set, but as these kits do not include any stamping (to keep with Stampin’ Up! policy), you can choose your own sentiments – or leave them without.  You can also use your favourite way to stick things down!  This kit is flexible to how you craft and the type of cards you need.

Social Stamping | April Kits – Bonanza Buddies

I’m starting to design the cards for my May card kits.  Thank you to everyone who purchased the supplies to turn the 5 kits into cards in April.

Two of the cards in April’s kits used the Birthday Bonanza suite.  There’s always a surprise retirement for me in every catalogue, and this was it for 2020!  I’m going to miss these cute little critters!

I think this card style is called a Peekaboo Card since you can see through the front layer of the card to the back, but I’m not 100% sure. If you’ve heard a different name, please leave me a comment.

There was a Coastal Cabana version and a Daffodil Delight version.

The tag from the Bonanza Dies worked perfectly as the upright portion to hold the two front layers together.

Here’s a side view…

The card kits were sent with pre-cut card bases & cardstock pieces, die cut embellishments, Birthday Bonanza DSP and ribbon.

Saying Goodbye | Springtime Butterfly

I always think that it’s this time of the year we realise how many things we bought and thought we’d have forever to use and then before we know it, they’ve ended up on a retirement list and disappeared from the catalogue!!

The Last Chance Product List (aka retirement list) was announced yesterday, ready for the launch on the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue in June.  You can read more about it here.

This was a card I actually made before the retirement list was announced, but given it features the retiring In Color – Lovely Lipstick – it’s no surprise that it features at least some retiring product.  There’s also the Springtime Impressions Dies (butterfly) and Best Dressed DSP.

I have sold out of the first batch of this kit, but am just getting to work on making more, which will be ready to post early next week.  Get yours for $20 with post available Australia wide.
