I am excited about Christmas and trying my hardest to be ready, but so many beautiful people I know are born between November and February!!! It’s party central around here!
So, when the lovely Natalie Lapakko invited me to be part of the December Birthdays blog hop, it seemed perfect for my current creative needs!!!
You are visiting with Kelly Kent in Bunbury, Western Australia, on this international journey. Hello!!!
The line-up for this hop is crazy talented, so make sure you keep hopping until you get back to where you started so you don’t miss a single project!
I said there’s lots of birthdays happening here…..yes….?
Which means I have a few things to share! There’s a little something from all the catalogues.
Let’s start with a masculine cowboy card from the Annual Catalogue…
I love the variety within the pages of the Stampin’ Up! catalogue! Can I make a cowboy card for a 40th birthday…. yes I can!!!
Complete with a lasso rope embellishment! And of course, cowboy boots!!!
The Woodgrain embossing folder is sadly retired, but if you don’t own it, you could add in more of the gorgeous Wood Textures DSP.
My next share is using the Cat Punch from the Holiday Catalogue.
I was so excited to find out that this cute kitty is on the 2017 Holiday Catalogue Carryover List. You can find all the details about carrying over and retiring Holiday Catalogue products here.
How striking in the black cat in pretty DSP!?
The stamp set is the much loved, but shamefully underused Paint Play stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. You’ll find the Pick at Pattern DSP there too!
The final card I’m sharing tonight is a sneak peek from the upcoming Occasions 2018 catalogue….
One of the new catalogue highlights is the amazing new DSP patterns – wow-oh-wow, they are divine! The one you see here is the gorgeous Sweet Soiree Speciality paper with silver foiling on every sheet.
Isn’t this design just the perfect budgerigar colour combination!!!
And doesn’t he look sweet coloured with the Stampin’ Blends!!!
Blends would make an amazing December birthday present!!!
Or a just because present….. I love them so much I’m planning on buying a second set for classes. We’re going to be using these lots!!!
If you’re in Australia and know someone with a birthday that {NEEDS} a Stampin’ Up! gift voucher – get in touch with me! I can help!!!
For more inspiration that lead to extra items to add to your never ending wishlist, including lots more new catalogue sneak peeks, keep hopping!!!
I’m delighted to be linking to the lady with the best organisational skills – and awesome design talents, Natalie Lapakko in the US!
Thanks for hopping with us, and to Natalie for having us!
If you know someone with a December birthday, make sure to give them a big happy birthday hug or send them a hug in a card. I’m told the birthday love at this time of the year gets a big overshadowed by Christmas!!
If you’re into making New Years Resolutions – make it to send at least one handmade card by mail next year! There is truly fewer things in life’s simple pleasures than retrieving an envelope of prettiness from the letterbox!!!
