OnStage 2017 Team Presents

Well, it’s here!!  And we are here!  Myself and 6 of my Paper Adventures team are in Melbourne for a weekend filled with fun, stamping and great friendships.

Today we enjoyed a marvellous brunch and saw the sights of Melbourne.

At brunch we shared team swaps.  I know some of my team will blog their own creations, so I’ll leave that to them and just share what I gave out.

This weekend is going to be such a special memory, so I have created a little memory box using the Mini Pizza Boxes.

And then an accordion fold in the middle ready for photos!  The paper aeroplane is our team motif, so I have kept this cute stamp from a retired set for team projects!

I am so grateful for my team joining me in Melbourne (no mean feat to traverse the continent for a one day event), so I wanted to make them some gifts to commemorate our time together.

Nanna Papercraft is always on board with my crazy ideas and happily helped me to embroider these beautiful scarves with …. our aeroplane!  Thanks Mum!

I thought a scarf was particularly fitting given Melbourne’s reputation for 4 seasons in one day!  Hopefully we catch some nicer weather than they had earlier in the week for Melbourne Cup!

The scarf is protecting another gift – personalised water bottles!

I’ve been using my Cameo lots lately to add adhesive vinyl to glass & plastic items as gifts.  Several of my team were commenting how much they’d like something made for them…. little did they know what I was scheming!!

There’s one for me too – I didn’t want to miss out!!!

A big thank you to my team for making this weekend so special!

If you see us at the event, please say hi!  It’s going to be a great day!!!

I’m off now to the CentreStage event to see more of my demo friends, have a lovely dinner and get a sneak peek at the new catalogue.

There’s no sharing til next week though – my lips are sealed!!!

Hello Friend Pizza Box Set

I’m not sure if we’ll find out at OnStage this weekend what is carrying over from the Holiday Catalogue, but I’m very hopeful we’ll see the Mini Pizza Boxes for many catalogue cycles to come.

I’m a sucker for mini anything!!!

I shared a Christmas set of mini cards packaged in a pizza box as part of my CASEing the Catty project featuring our favourite Big Shot product.  You can see my sewing inspired card set here.

The set I am sharing today was a class project class month.  It’s pretty & sweet and features the Hello Friend stamp set.

The boxes were colouring using a mix of Isocol (rubbing alcohol) and reinker.  I chose Sweet Sugarplum, but we had a range of different colours at the class.  Blushing Bride looked lovely too!

The top of the pizza box was the 4 cards were decorated using the stamps from Hello Friend.

The wreath stamp looks great when stamped as a wreath, or also lovely when stamped as a border around the edge of the cardstock (like on the front of the pizza box).

Here’s a close up of the 4 cards…

We stuck to the same 3 colours for each card – Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry & Tranquil Tide, but also added in some other products like a circle punch, flowers from Bouquet Bunch Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits and butterflies from Sunshine Wishes Thinlits & Bold Butterfly Framelits.

You’ll also spot some Champagne Foil!  I love it!

The cards are 3″ x 3″ when finished, so we used 12″x12″ cardstock to cut from.  This gives 8 cards per sheet – or uses half a sheet for a card set like this.

Stampin’ Up! included square envelopes in the Holiday Catalogue which are the perfect size for 3″ cards and fit inside the pizza box, making this a wonderful gift at any time of the year.

I really, really, really hope they stay!  It’s been so much fun using them.

I’ll have another project to show using the Pizza Boxes soon.  I can’t show you now – it’s a top secret OnStage creation (4 more sleeps!)
