A Whole Lot of Lovely Vertical Greetings

I had a few special thank yous to send after my launch event a couple of weeks ago.

The day was a huge success, but as with all major events, lots of work went in behind the scenes.

Which meant that three very special people deserved thank you cards!

My cards started by cutting up one of the sheets from the Whole Lot of Lovey DSP pack.  {psst – it really is a whole lot of lovely!}

This then guided the card base colours – Pool Party, Powder Pink & Daffodil Delight – all flower colours on the vine!

One of the things Stampin’ Up! love the most – and I love the most – is coordination!

So it’s no surprise that the flowers in the Whole Lot Of Lovely DSP very closely resemble the flowers in the Falling Flowers stamp set!!!

The greeting is from the Vertical Greetings stamp set.  This was one of the new sets I most excited about {last year} – and haven’t really used it enough!

Which stamp set did you think you’d love but it’s gathered dust on the shelf?

Make sure to get it out and give it some love this week!

Just Add Ink #359 – Inspiration

Did you know that the Just Add Ink challenge site cycles through lots of different types of inspiration… themes, letters, photos are just  few.

This week we have a gorgeous inspiration photo chosen by  Kim.

Image may contain: flower and text

What a gorgeous picture!  Perfect for flowers & pink tones – favourites of many crafters!

I had the pleasure at a recent craft weekend I went on to borrow the Falling Flowers bundle.

It’s been on my radar, but not in my shopping cart, for a while now, so it was a pleasure to be able to use it.

Making this card just made me want to own it even more… so guess what will soon make the transition from wishlist to stash very soon???

The most striking thing about the inspiration photo for me was the beautiful colours and striking resemblance to the new Berry Burst In Colour.

I wanted to take that bright pink, add in a bit of green and display it all on a crisp white background.

I love the simplicity of this card, but couldn’t help add a little bling thanks to a product we’ll all be able to enjoy soon – Glitter Enamel Dots!  They are divine!

{Can’t wait til June to add Glitter Dots to your collection?  Join my Paper Adventures team in May and you can add them – plus other great new catalogue products – to your Starter Kit}.

The sentiment in this card – nice & generic, this is an all-occasions card – is from the very versatile Beautiful You stamp set.

I can’t wait for you to see what the other design team members were inspired to create.  See all the cards on the Just Add Ink blog.

And I am even more excited to see what you create!  Upload your creation by visiting the blog.
