Sending a very Merry Christmas to you and your favourite people.
Just a quick share today….
Using some retired favourites and some products soon to join them on the retirement list, this card coordinated well with some gifts I made for family & friends this year.
Warm Hugs stamp set – used here for the heart and Christmas tree – is already sold out. If there’s anything from the Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue on your wishlist that you haven’t yet added to your shopping cart, it might be time for a little Christmas retail therapy today!
Sending lots of positive Christmas vibes your way today for a day that is filled with amazing company, great food and cold drinks!
Cheers to a wonderful Christmas – with love from Papercraft HQ xxx
Happy Christmas Eve! We made it to the day before!!!
If Paper Pumpkin won Christmas for me this year, the Peace & Joy bundle stole my heart!
From the layering stamps and dies to those amazing teeny tiny little block words, this stamp set was the perfect sentiment option for the bright & bold this Christmas!
It also had accessory stamps such as the cute holly I’ve used to dress up this card.
If you need cards in a hurry today, this banner layout using stripes of 1″, 1-1/2″ and 2″ DSP (I used Heartwarming Hugs) and the Triple Banner Punch. Add your favourite – or closest to hand – Christmas stamps and you’ll have a set of cards ready to share in no time at all!
If you celebrate Christmas tonight, I hope your celebrations are wonderful. If you have toys to construct, presents to wrap, food to cook or a house to clean, I wish you patience and hope there’s some frivolity & joy in your preparations.
Hello! This is my last Stamp Review Crew hop for 2020. There’s another hop in a couple of weeks, but it’s not a stamp set I added to my collection in time.
Today we’re sharing projects made using the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set – found in the Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue. You can see the main blog post for this hop by clicking here.
This stamp set was love at first sight when I saw it in the catalogue! It’s been fun to add those sweet little gnomes to holiday cards. The sentiments from this set work well with other stamp sets too, making it a versatile option for all your Christmas crafting needs.
Vellum on its own isn’t strong enough as a card base, so this design uses Heartwarming Hugs DSP on the back layer and part of a piece of cardstock on the front, so a cute peek-a-boo effect.
The Gnome for the Holidays stamp set is great for creating a scene. I stamped the treehouse and then cut it out using a die from the Hippo & Friends Dies. The gnomes were stamped on Whisper White and fussy cut. All of the pretty pictures were brought to life with Stampin’ Blends. How vibrant are those colours!!!
The embossing for this card is Tasteful Textures 3D embossing folder cut at an angle.
Is this a card style that you’ve tried? Feel like it might work for some of your festive crafting?
This stamp set has so much to offer and so many different styles you can use. One of my favourite cards this year was made using this set –
There’s plenty more inspiration on this hop. Next up is Mike Funke in the US with a great gnomey project….
Hello! Thanks for joining in for the November edition of the Paper Adventures Team Hop. Today’s theme is oh-so-relevant as we embark on the end of year festive season – teacher presents, thank you presents, Christmas presents…. it’s all about gift wrapping and packaging.
I can’t wait for you to see what the team share for gift wrapping and packaging ideas tonight. I’m excited for the inspiration, as I love giving out presents!
My packaging is going to be your go-to this Christmas when you need something easy but super cute – it’s the Mini Coffee Cups & Coffee Caddy from the Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue.
As well as the coffee cups and caddy, you’ll also need:
a choice of DSP (Heartwarming Hugs)
a sentiment stamp set (Warm Hugs)
ribbon or twine (Mossy Meadow Diagonal Stripe & Real Red Braided Linen Trim)
cello bag (Mosaic Gusseted Cello Bags)
You may also want to use the Warm Wraps Dies – they cut out the cutest band for your Mini Coffee Cups. They coordinate with the Warm Hugs stamp set, giving you lots of options for embellishing your sweet treats. I’ve filled the cello bag with locally made Rocky Road and popped a sachet of hot chocolate powder into the coffee cup.
If you thought the Mini Coffee Cups & Caddy were just for Christmas, then look at the next version I made. By changing up the DSP and colours, it’s really easy for this to be a birthday or thank you gift.
This one features the Flowers for Every Season DSP and ribbon combo pack.
There’s Favourites chocolates in the cello bag and a generic ‘for you’ sentiment, ready for any occasion. The stamp set is still the Warm Hugs one I used for the Christmas version – such a versatile one to have in your collection.
I’ve used the Banner Triple punch for the tag on each creation, but you could also cut banners with scissors if you don’t own this yet. It does make banner ends a breeze!
Which version do you think you’ll have the most need for this season? All occasion or Christmas? There’s 8 cups and caddys in each pack . I’m going to make up all 8 and have them ready to give out in December. It’s part of my strategy for less rush this year! Will it work??? Probably not – last minute crafting is always a thing in my craft room! More ideas than time!!!
Next up to share their awesome gift wrapping and packaging ideas is Mandy Depiazzi. She’s the queen of boxes and I know you’re going to love what she’s made today.
Have a wonderful weekend. I’ve got a full schedule on my craft on my to-do list with preparation for Social Stamping to do and a couple of blogs during the week to create for #bestjobintheworld!
A very merry hello to you! How’s your Christmas preparation going? With the current pandemic causing significant delays within the postal system, I’m thinking November is going to be the month to get Christmas cards in the mail. Otherwise, they might be a merry happy new year!!!
Luckily, the theme this term for Social Stamping at the Taste of Dalyellup cafe is Christmas. 8 wonderful opportunities to make Christmas card to send to your favourites this festive season. We started last week and almost had a full house!!!
The second card was inspired from the catalogue. I often use the catalogue to inspire layouts, colours or designs. It’s not just a book of products to buy, it’s a great resource for ways to use your new & previous purchases.
With a change in colour theme and using the Heartwarming Hugs DSP, this is what we made…
Heartwarming Hugs DSP is on special all month and is perfect for all the Christmas crafting you’ll want to do in November.
You’ll find the A Merry Hello stamp set in the Stampin’ Rewards section at the back of the 2020 Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue. It’s specially priced and an exclusive set you can only purchase with Stampin’ Rewards. Rewards are earned on every order over $250. Click here to start shopping on my online store.
The next Social Stamping class is tomorrow and we’d love to have you join us.
Hi! Thanks for joining us for a team hop where our Paper Adventures team get together on a Friday night once a month and create projects with a shared theme. Today it’s a fabulous sketch and we’re lucky to be joined by Gail Ellis from Blue Rose Paper Treasures as our guest designer.
This fun sketch was designed by Narelle. I’m so excited to see what the team does with it. I’m either incredibly literal with sketches (for this one think holly, circle and rectangle) or I run away on a complete tangent!
Today’s creation is a little liberal with the circle turning into a square and the holly becoming a gnome.
I had an idea when I saw this sketch where the gnome was peeking out from behind a present with a tag saying “no peeking”.
How cute is the ruffles of the bow from the Gift Wrapped stamp set? I’ve paired it with Heartwarming Hugs DSP.
The tag is from the Little Treat Box Dies – such a cute little size with gorgeous stitched detail. And you’ll recognise the gnome peeking out from the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set. I had to hunt a little for the sentiment – I knew I had a ‘no peeking’ somewhere and found it in the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.
There’s lots more of the team to share their creations if you keep clicking on the ‘next’ links to each blog until you get back to where you started. The full list of participants is below.
From here, you are visiting our amazingly talented guest designer Gail Ellis.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend filled with all the things that make you happy!
