Hello! Welcome to our latest ESAD Blog Hop. We’re celebrating the start of the Stampin’ Up! 2017 Holiday Catalogue.
I may be a little biased since SU! is my favourite card making supply company, but they have hit another winner with this catalogue!
Be prepared for your wishlist to grow as you visit each of the talented ESAD members participating in this blog hop! A full list in available at the end of this post – just in case there’s any broken links!

If you haven’t yet seen a copy of the Holiday Catalogue, you can download the digital version here.
Hard copies are available from your local Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. If you don’t yet have a demonstrator to supply you with all your stamping needs, you have plenty of choice along this hop!!!
I have added some lovely new items to my Stampin’ Up! collection of late, but one particular area I have been stocking up in, is the Memories & More card kits.
There are 4 kits available in the Annual Catalogue and a Christmas collection in the Holiday Catalogue.
I’m not a large scrapbooker or memory keeper, but I throughout the year I’ll make one-off pages for the girls as posters for their room. Eventually there will be enough of these to make an album!!!
But, while the cards are handy for these pages, the main reason I buy them is they are the perfect size for cards! It’s like gaining a whole new pack of DSP (which we know I love!).
Each Memories and More card kit contains 72 double sided cards (20 of the large size and 52 of the smaller size), sticker sheets and acetate overlays (numbers vary based on the kit).
Today I’m sharing creations I’ve made using the Merry Little Christmas card kit from the Holiday Catalogue.

First up, I’m sharing a scrapbook page I’ve made…

By simply layering the Memories & More cards onto a page from the Merry Little Christmas DSP (yes, we love a coordinating suite!), this page is ready to go with our family memories from Christmas 2017.
The full page lined card leaves plenty of room for journalling and I’ve left the Old Olive cardstock ready to layer a photo on!

Check out the ‘family’ sticker on the top right card. How cute are those stickers for adding extra detail!?!
The second project I’m sharing with you today is 4 cards that I whipped up really quickly using a sheet each of Cherry Cobbler & Old Olive cardstock (cut in half to make 2 cards per sheet). There’s also some Basic Black cardstock too in the mix to keep within the colour theme of the card kit.
Here are the first two….

All the large size cards are just slightly bigger than our card fronts here in Australia, so I trimmed them down to 3-7/8″ x 5-5/8″.
The small cards are already 3-7/8″ tall, so those fit just fine and meant I could display the whole gorgeous card on each of these designs.
I added some silver snowflakes from the sticker sheet to the card on the left and the silver ‘merry’ sentiment to the card on the right.
Here’s the other two…

For the card on the left, the sentiment comes from a small card – I just cut it out with my paper snips.
The card on the right has a sticker from the cardstock sticker sheet. The Kraft coloured cards have a beautiful ‘pearl white’ print on them.

To make the scrapbook page and the four cards, I only used a fraction of the cards in my kit. There’s 36 unique designs (with two sides, so really 72 options), which gives you plenty of creative leeway if you like that freedom, but lots of direction if you just want to whip up some ready to go cards this festive season!
My last share for today is a project I’ve been meaning to make happen for some time, but this blog hop has given me the kick up the bum to do it!
The card kits come in cute little cardboard boxes, but it means every time you want to play with your cards you’ve got to get them all out (and then put them away).
Like so many of our stamping supplies, the clear cases are a perfect solution for storage.
These kits fit best in the full size wood cases. These little gems accidentally got missed from print run of the Annual Catalogue, but they are very much still available.

{Looks like a washi tape insert is next on my list!}
You can download the free printable inserts for your Merry Little Christmas Memories & More card kit here….

And the other four Memories & More card kits from the Annual Catalogue here…

Well, that’s all from me. It seems I’m a little excited to return to blogging. So good to see you all!!!
Next up on the hop is the totally gorgeous Josie Dean – you’re going to love what she’s made.

Thanks for joining us! We love hearing from you if you have time to leave a comment.
