Stamp Review Crew | Forever Fern

Hello Monday (in Australia!) & welcome to another Stamp Review Crew hop.  I’m joined by my stamping friends from around the world as we all share projects made using the same Stampin’ Up! stamp set.  You can find the full list of participants and link on the Stamp Review Crew blog.

Today it’s the Forever Fern stamp set and coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies.

This is one of those sets where the dies really complement the stamp set, so I know you’re going to see some wonderful projects today using the whole suite.

I really enjoy experimenting with the styling of a stamp set that has quite a strong theme in the catalogue.  There’s lot of green tones in this suite, so I’ve taken the turn to the left and gone pink.

The inspiration for this card started with wanting to use the Gold Hoop Embellishment.  They are just the sweetest!

I mixed my embossing colours with gold, silver and white on the same card!  White for the sentiment on Basic Gray cardstock, silver leaves on Sahara Sand cardstock, gold leaves on Sahara Sand cardstock and silver splatters on the card base.  I figured while I was mixing it up, I’d try out a few different things.

The card base is Rococo Rose layered with Whisper White and more Rococo Rose. The embossed layer is the 3D Brick & Mortar folder. And the ribbon is the new Metallic Mesh Ribbon and the Braided Linen Trim from the Annual Catalogue.

There’s more Forever Fern projects waiting for you by clicking the next button through the hop.  From here, you’re travelling to the US to visit the wonderful Holly Krautkremer.

Thanks for joining the fun with us today!
