Hello Sunday! I hope your weekend was amazing! We had a fantastic mix of sport, family time, crafting and a day out! Now it’s time to get ready for the week ahead!
This week’s CASEing the Catty challenge is the Animal Expedition pages & beyond (pages 26-37).
As always, use the photos in the catalogue to inspire a project you make. It might be the layout, theme, colours or design that catches your eye.
Share it on our Facebook page to be in the running to win our weekly challenge. Click here to visit the CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge Facebook page.
My inspiration for today’s project came from the card on the right in the photo below (page 28 of the catalogue). I could have easily just recreated the card in its entirety – that’s how much I loved it!
But instead, I did a complete switch up. I swapped the colour scheme so that pink (Lovely Lipstick & Melon Mambo) was the base with a Mint Macaron accent, and swapped the position of the sentiment & the bike.
The Happy Birthday and pretty girl on the bike can be found in a new stamp set called One For All.
I always love a big & fun birthday greeting – so this stamp set was a definitely on my wishlist.
Thanks for joining us!
Next up on the CTC hop is the super stylish Megan Lenske.
Hey, hey! It’s Sunday!
And April at that! I know I say it every month, but where is this year going?
This is an exciting week for me – because the Stampin’ Up! event OnStage happens next weekend.
A whole day of fun with stamping friends – new & old. We get to see & play with new catalogue products (hello June sneak peek!) and indulge in what we love.
A few more sleeps to go!!!
This week at CASEing the Catty we are sharing projects we love inspired by the Falling in Love section of the catalogue.
I’ve been waiting to incorporate a square frame into one of my cards since seeing this cool feature on cards by some of my stamping friends. Check out Lou & Rochelle‘s gold designs.
So, CASEing the elements from this card from the top right of the Falling in Love suite picture….
I added in the frame and made this pretty card…
I love white on white (or vellum on white in this case) with a colour feature.
And I love all the layers!!!
Taking all the elements from a card into the catalogue and reordering them is a great way to transform a project and make it into something unique!
I have intentionally kep the sentiment for this card vague. Celebrate can be used for so many things from a wedding to a birthday to a promotion.
Please join us for CTC this week and upload your creation to the Facebook page.
And be sure to have a looksie at all the creations from the CASEing the Catty Crew.
