Happy Love Day 2021

Happy Valentine’s Day friends! It’s a big weekend of love here at Papercraft HQ. Yesterday Mr Papercraft and I celebrated our wedding anniversary, Little Miss Papercraft had her birthday and today it’s Valentines Day!

Back in early January, I used the Darling Donkeys stamp set (available for {FREE} during Sale-A-Bration until 28th Feb 21) to make Mr P’s birthday card. Click here to see it if you missed it.

So, it seemed like perfect coordination to keep the theme going and use another donkey from the set to make a card to cover all the occasions of this weekend.

Together with the perfectly named Love You Always Specialty DSP in elegant Sahara Sand, a Real Red heart die from the Be Mine Stitched Dies, ‘love’ sentiment from the Well Written Dies and ‘you’ stamp from the Pretty Perennials stamp set, the donkey is just the cutest expression of love!

I hope your day is filled with lots of happy – with people you love and activities that fill your cup.

Sending lots of love from Australia,

Birthday Fun for Mr Papercraft

Just when we’ve cleared the festive season for 2020, it’s soon Jan 2021, which means we’re celebrating Mr Papercraft’s birthday today.

Stampin’ Up! have released a fabulous new masculine theme suited called Well Suited – and while Mr Papercraft is not a suit and tie kind of guy, the colours and styling of the Well Suited DSP are perfect for birthday themed card.

The colours I’ve used are Whisper White**, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Misty Moonlight inspired by the tones of the DSP.

Since the card was from the whole family, I couldn’t resist adding in a little fun with the Darling Donkey stamp set – a cute & light hearted set available free (with a $90 purchase) during January & February as part of Sale-A-Bration 2021.

The sentiment is a mix of an Annual Catalogue favourite – Happy Dies with a new stamp set that I am in love with – Pretty Perennials from the Jan-June 2021 Mini Catalogue.

You may have seen the update about Stampin’ Up! changing suppliers for the white range of cardstock & paper products. The new Basic White range is now available to order. This video by Stampin’ Up! shares the key similarities and differences between the new and old white ranges.

Here’s more information on which products have switched over to become Basic White.

While I run down my supplies of Whisper White, I’ll continue to use what I have, but I’m excited to receive my Basic White order and road test the new version!

Have a wonderful weekend! We will be having a fabulous time celebrating with Mr Papercraft. Let there be cake!
