The Missing Daisy

As I was running through my Daisy Delight rehearsal the day before my OnStage presentation back in April, I realised I couldn’t find one of the cards I’d made!

Not to panic, I had lots of other ideas to show everyone, but I did wonder what had happened to the card!

Well, fast forward to this week and I found the missing card (ironically while I was looking for something else I thought I’d lost… but actually hadn’t… oh dear!)

I was so excited to see it again – and it’s too cute not to share!

Here it is…

This yellow & navy combination has reminded me how beautiful & bright those colours are together!

There’s a gorgeous page in the Delight Daisy DSP full of yellow flowers on a blue background!!!

Here’s another view….

Subbing out a letter for an image is a great way to add creativity to a word.

The ‘you’ is from the Daisy Delight stamp set.  Because it’s photopolymer, I have actually cut the ‘thank you’ into two parts.  This means I can use them separately, or line them one of top of each other.  If I want the whole word, it just pieces back together on the block!

Are you a stamp cutter???  Or does that idea just send you into a tail spin?

Cutting or no cutting, these stamps will be available on Thurs when the Annual Catalogue launches!

OnStage 2017 – Daisy Delight Presentation

OnStage 2017 was an incredibly magical experience for me.

Part of that magic was sharing it with my team, meeting up with old friends, making new friends & seeing new products.

I’m not even sure how we packed all that excitement into one day!

This event had a new magic for me – presenting a product suite OnStage in front of 200 of my fellow stamping addicts!

I had the pleasure of introducing everyone to the Delightful Daisy suite – a stamp set & punch bundle with coordinating accessories!

I had so much fun creating my samples and sharing them – I felt so lucky!!!

My presentation went well and I’ve been told my enthusiasm for all things Stampin’ Up! shone through.

There was me on the stage with a cool projector screen…

And I was also on 2 big screens – crazy!!!

I had a few themes for my presentation.

These were the cards I designed for a beginner class.  They would also make great make & takes.

One of the great things about this bundle is its usefulness for a new stamper.  No other tools required!

Although no other tools are required to enjoy this bundle, I did through a few sneaky temptations for the beginners like the Stitched Shapes (first step punch bundle, next step Big Shot!), heat embossing (we all love a good wow!) and another punch (Triple Banner – my fave).

Then I stepped up the ideas for a product based class, with a scrapbook page using the beautiful DSP…

A project set using more beautiful DSP…

And a fancy fold easel card…

Have you noticed that all the daisies are stamped & punched twice?  This adds fullness to your daisy, making it lush & beautiful!

The next set of ideas were for saying ‘thanks’ – since this is a popular crafting need.  Thanks for customers, thanks for hostess & thanks for other special people!

This gift card set uses the negative from the punch, – which gives your customers more ideas on how they can use their products…

And since I don’t love making boxes, the daisy seemed like a perfect embellishment for one of the new gold striped bags…

That gold sequin trim is amazing in real life!!!  And the daisy looks awesome in gold embossing!

Of course, I couldn’t help myself but to make a few samples using alternative daisy ideas!!!

Add some colour and they become gerberas…

Use them for cute birdie wings….

Or cut the middle & tips from the petals to create a windmill…

This bundle was on Product Purchase Premiere for OnStage attendees, so I know it will be arriving shortly for many demonstrators.

You’re going to see lots more amazing samples as the weeks tick down until the catalogue launch on 1st June.  If any of these ideas will work for you or your business, please use them!

If you’d like the opportunity to attend Stampin’ Up! events and order amazing new products early, then join my Paper Adventures team!

Who knew, 5 years ago, that one stamping class would lead to these kind of opportunities!!!

So amazing!!!
