I’m excited to be hopping today with the CASEing the Catty Crew.
The theme for this beautiful Sunday is pages 10-14 of the Occasions Catalogue. Most of this section is the gorgeous samples showcasing the Sweet Soiree Suite.
It was the shaker card on page 10 that caught my eye – the card below next to the yellow cake…
I didn’t buy the stamp set & framelits from the Occasions catalogue – I started with the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit…
It’s full of the same elements & features of the stamp set and DSP – but already beautifully coloured and cut.
The embellishments formed the first theme for my CASEd shaker card…
I used a 4″ x 12″ piece of the Sweet Soiree DSP, scored at 6″, as the card base. Because this is a specialty DSP, it’s crisp & strong. Such a deluxe touch to have DSP across the whole card!
The flowers, ribbon & tassel are all from the embellishment kit. The sentiment is from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set. The shaker fill is silver glitter.
There’s two other Speciality Papers in the Occasions catalogue with the same texture/weight – Painted with Love and Myths & Magic. So, I created two more variations using the same layout & styling.
Painted with Love…
This card has the new Gold Glitter Flakes as the shaker insert. It doesn’t shake – but clings to the Window Sheet due to the high surface area & static content. Cool effect!!!
Myths & Magic….
The shaker component of this card is the Metallics Sequins. Sequins are my go-to when I want a really good shaker insert!

In a house of girls, it’s going to get a good workout here!
There’s so much I love in the Occasions catalogue. I could buy the whole thing without taking a breath!
