Stamp Review Crew | SAB Bonus Hop

There’s nothing quite as fun as a bonus anything!!!

This is a fun bonus because we’re blogging about…. {BONUS PRODUCTS!}

That’s right, a whole blog hop by the gorgeous Stamp Review Crew sharing what they love about the Sale-A-Bration choices for 2018!

And there’s lots of lovely choice (click to enlarge)….

*** Sale-A-Bration rewards in Australian dollars (check with your local demonstrator for spend requirements in your region).

Today I’m sharing with you the oh-so-lovely Memories & More cards that you can choose for absolutely nothing with a $90 order.

These pretty floral designs coordinate with the Sweet Soiree range in the Occasions catalogue.  You get 72 double sided cards (52 small and 20 large).

,As always, you can use these cards to make scrapbook pages, pocket style memory keeping and use them as embellishments/DSP on a card.

But I started thinking, what else could these tiny pretties do?

They could easily be used for love notes in lunchboxes, writing a fancy shopping list or slipped into a clear phone cover for an interchangeable pattern!

You could also make a pretty bookmark….

How apt is ‘love this story’ that I chopped from two of the cards and stuck to one of my favourite designs (chopped to 2″ wide and punched using the Scalloped Tag Topper).

Next up I used the little cards – chopped in half – to made a banner for Miss Papercraft.

She starts Kindy next week and isn’t all that keen on learning the letters in her name.  So I designed this as a game that she could put the letters in order and then thread them on the ribbon string.

I work in Child Development, so snuck in the fine motor threading skill as well as the letter recognition!!!  She’ll never know we’re working – because it’s so pretty!!!

The last project I’m sharing was inspired by the gorgeous Jackie Aitken.  She sent me a card last year with my address on a Memories & More card – stuck to the front of the envelope.  Jackie has a series of blog posts showcasing how she made 44 cards with the Sweet Soiree Memories & More card pack.  Click here to visit the first post in the series.

The extra detail on the envelope made me smile and I’ve haven’t forgotten it!  I know she won’t mind me sharing it with you.

You can see how easy it is to use these pretty cards and how many ways you can use them in your crafty projects.

Hello September – Let’s Holiday!

Hello September | kelly kent

Hello!  Well, didn’t that go quickly!!!  August is done!

It’s September and I’m back in the land of blogging.

The little break was lovely and gave me time to slow down the extreme crafting speed and spread my time a little more evenly between my family, friends and other hobbies.

We had some unseasonably warm and sunny weather over the last weekend – which just finished off my month wonderfully!!!  I’m hoping there’s lots more of that to come.

What does September hold?

I’ll be creating again for the design teams I’m lucky enough to be a part of, so watch out for those posts.

There will also be a scrap camp in the mix, more classes and of course, a new catalogue to play with!

If you don’t have a copy of the new Holiday Catalogue, which starts today and runs through til 2nd January 2018, I can send one anywhere in Australia.

If you’d like to view an online copy, click here.

As always, one of my loves from the new catalogue is all the gorgeous DSP!

I have DSP shares available for anyone in Australia who wants it all but at a fraction of the price –

If 96 pieces of beautiful paper takes your fancy, please send me an email (or leave a comment here) and I’ll make it happen!

As a ‘welcome back to blogging’ gift, everyone who orders from me in September will get one of these cute little treat pouches.

September Treats | kelly kent

This is the hot chocolate variety, but there’s also a coffee treat if that’s more your thing!

The cute little pouch is a ‘diaper fold’ and made using a 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP!

They make great gifts for colleagues, friends and people you want to give a gift to over the festive period.

September may seem a little early to get started on gifts, but 25th Dec will be here before we know it!!!

If I can help you with anything from the Holiday Catalogue, please let me know!

My classes are still running during September.  Would you like to join us?

I’d love to see you!

Can you spot the other new products I’ve used for this card???

There’s the Layering Circles Framelits, Seaside embossing folder & Classic Label punch.  Oh, and my very favourite Sweet Sugarplum cardstock!!!

Once my card was made, I wanted a little something to pop in the envelope to make it a birthday gift.  And that little something was a bookmark.

I like it when things are all matchy-matchy, so I kept with the Sweet Sugarplum, Blushing Bride & Silver glimmer colour theme.  Plus the same Seaside embossing folder background, but I added the flower from the Sunshine Wishes thinlit set.

But no birthday sentiment on this one.  I masked out the ‘you’ on the stamp and just inked up ‘happiness’.  Punched it out with the Classic Label punch and snipped off the ends!

Sometimes it’s the little ‘hacks’ that makes for clever crafting.  Do you have a great tip – leave me a comment & share your genius!
