Happily Ever After – Thank You Card Gift Set

It’s time for a break from the craft table to attend a wedding!

Mr & Mrs Papercraft have put on some pretty clothes and are having a night out!!!

Although it’s become traditional for monetary wedding gifts in our current generation.

I understand the wishing well – we did the same!  Most couples have already set up house long before they got married and money allows them to buy big ticket items that they want or need.  I will always be grateful for our dishwasher!

I wanted to break from tradition and share some handmade love for the couple’s wedding.

Their wedding invite was so pretty and reminded me of the Seasonal Layers bundle that I’ve been playing with this month.

So, I made 25 notecards in the blossom theme with the gorgeous sentiment from the All Things stamp set ‘ thank you for sharing in our happily ever after’.  So sweet!!!

All Things Thanks is available in the 2017 Occasions catalogue and to my delight, appears in the upcoming Annual Catalogue.

In a very happy coincidence, I was able to package of all of the cards into a box that one of my birthday gifts came in during the week – talk about perfect timing!

And a perfect fit!  The box fits 25 card and decorated envelopes perfectly!

In the same style, I made a wedding card for the happy couple, using masking tape to block out the ‘thank you’ part of the sentiment, leaving just a wonderful wedding sentiment!

The gift set and wedding card use a few retired/retiring items.  There are some things in my stash that I keep for personal creations.

From long ago, I used the Brushed Gold cardstock – it’s perfect for weddings!  Do you still have some tucked away?

From not so long ago, I used Mossy Meadow cardstock (it matched the invite!).

And from now, the soon to be retired the Falling Petals embossing folder.  I’m keeping that one forever!!!

Once the card is all written out, I’ll be finishing it with flourish of ribbon & a bow.

I love handmade!  And I hope this thank you notecard set helps out the happy couple!

Here’s to a wonderful night!!!
