I had the pleasure of making this cute penguin this week for a friend and Paper Adventurer teamie – Kristel.
Kristel loves penguins, so it was punch art time. Thanks to April Davis for the penguin inspiration.
The stamps are from the Birthday Delivery stamp set – how cute is that banner!!! This stamp set and coordinating framelits is on the retirement list. Available as a bundle, or single items, until 31st May 2018 (or they sell out).
Marina Mist is also retiring in the Colour Revamp, so if this is a favourite colour of yours, be sure to stock up before it disappears!
Happy Birthday Kristel, I hope the celebrations continue all month!
Welcome to another Stamp Review Crew Hop.
Today this wonderful group of international demonstrators is sharing ideas using the Bubble Over stamp set – and coordinating Bottles & Bubbles Framelits.
This bundle is currently available in the Occasions Catalogue, but I’m pleased to be able to let you know that Stampin’ Up! has shared a list of some of the items we’ll see in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue – and Bubble Over is one of them!!!
So, enjoy today’s hop with lots of ideas you’ll be able to use for the next 15 months!!
My first card uses the stamp set together with the Truly Tailored stamp set & coordinating Tailored Tag punch. You’ll also spy the Bubbles & Fizz DSP which is available until the end of the month as a Sale-A-Bration item (free with $90 purchase).
My second card is a completely different style. Instead of bubbles from drinks, I wanted a card with the type of bubbles that kids blow! The small girl framelit from the Birthday Friends set was perfect in black to create a silhouette of a girl blowing colourful bubbles.
Thanks for hopping with me today.
For more wonderful bubbly projects, please keep hopping & visit my friend Holly…
You’re a Star
I’m not sure I’m the most popular person on the Just Add Ink Design Team at the moment after suggesting this juicy little challenge!
Who’s up for using a Birthday stamp set to create a Christmas card???
To meet the guidelines of this challenge, you must use a set that is traditionally used for birthdays (or contains a birthday sentiment) – and use it to make a Christmas card!!!
Of course, making a Christmas card with just a birthday set is tricky, so feel free to add in another set to tie your project together.
I used the Birthday Delivery stamp set – which I have been promising myself to get inky for a while now.
The characters are just so cute!
Here’s the sweet little girl looking in on a lit up Christmas tree…
The ‘greetings’ is from the same stamp set, but I’ve borrowed the Christmas from Santa’s Sleigh stamp set.
The white on white embossing paste was a lovely texture for my wall…
Please join us for this fun challenge. It seems a little strange at first – but embodies what I love about challenges – it stretches your creativity to a really fun place!
Enter your creation over at the Just Add Ink blog.
The other design team cards are here too – there’s a great assortment of wonderful creativity.
Hopefully they loved the creative challenge as much as I did!
