Stamp Review Crew – Labeler Alphabet

Hello Monday!  Hope your week has started well!

Today for Stamp Review Crew, this wonderful international crew of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators are creating using the Labeler Alphabet stamp set.

You may have just come from the gorgeous Linda Callahan in the US!  Or starting here with  me in Australia.  Next stop is Tanya back in the US!  Wonderfully international – and very talented!!!

This stamp set is a long time favourite of mine!  Alphabet stamps are already good for when the sentiments you’ve got don’t quite fit the occasion!  Or to add that personal touch.

This sassy get well card I made earlier in the year is still one of my favourites.

I’ve made three cards to share with you today.

The first card is to go with a present I bought for Miss Papercraft’s teacher.  They’ve been reading all of the books in the Roald Dahl series, so when I saw a Roald Dahl fact book / sampler, I thought it would make a great classroom resource.

Of course every good present needs a card, so I made this card inspired by the part in Matilda where she telekinetically raises a piece of chalk to the blackboard and writes on it.

I left the ‘A’ unfinished as I’m sure there are lots of adjectives that a teacher could use to describe a class full of year 1 students!!!  Awesome, atrocious, amazing, awful….

It’s a vocabulary lesson right there!

The next card is for a little Warrior who has a long history of medical treatment.  I lovely friend put me onto the Communified Facebook page, where each month they share the story of a chronically ill child.

June’s Warrior is Tayte.  He loves lego, so I made him this interactive Lego waterfall card.

The Labeler Alphabet stamp set was handy to not only add his name (because a personal touch is always awesome) but the ‘pull’ instruction so they could work out how to get the card to move.

And the final card for today is another mermaid card.  Did you enjoy my colour combinations last week?

Here’s another set of colours – Marina Mist, Sweet Sugarplum, Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, Berry Burst & Basic Black!

This card is my take on the ‘be a unicorn’ theme.

Who doesn’t want to be a mermaid?

That is all today!!!  As you can see, I love this stamp set a lot!

And find it easy to find ways to use it in my cardmaking, but I can’t wait to see how the rest of the crew have used it!

Next up is the wonderfully talented Tanya Boser

Thanks for hopping with us!
