CASEing the Catty #134 – Babies & Kids

It’s been wonderful to see all the CASEing the Catty projects this month over on our Facebook page.  Thanks to everyone who has been entering the challenge and sharing their creativity!

Ready for a new theme?

This week we’re CASEing the Babies & Kids section of the Annual Catalogue.

No automatic alt text available.

There’s only one set in this section that I don’t own – can you guess which one???  It’s on my wishlist, so might appear shortly!

When I first saw the Annual Catalogue at OnStage I knew that I {had to have} the ‘A Little Wild’ stamp set and coordinating Little Loves Framelits dies.

I have 3 variations of the same project to share today that were inspired by towel decoration in the photo above, the mobile we have in our toy room and a cute card I saw on Pinterest.

I’m loving playing with the new DSP.  If I had to choose a favourite, at this moment, it’s easily the Coffee Break DSP – such lovely patterns & colours!

I used the Coffee Break DSP for the elephant mobile …

The bear mobile uses Whole Lot of Lovely. Color Theory & Birthday Memories DSP…

And the lion mobiles uses the Whole Lot of Lovely & Delightful Daisy DSP…

Cards like this are a great way to use your DSP scraps.

And all that ribbon that tends to build up in a beautiful array of colours!

I’ve used three new offerings from the new catalogue – Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon, Crushed Curry Mini Chevron Ribbon & Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon.

There’s over 50 new ribbons, trims & twines in the Annual Catalogue!!!  So much prettiness!

For more prettiness, hop on to the lovely Bronwyn Eastley to see her project inspired by the Babies & Kids section of the Annual Catalogue…

And be sure to join the fun on our Facebook page!

Wishing you a lovely week!

Welcome Baby – Not So Wild!

One of the cutest new stamp sets from the new catalogue is “A Little Wild”.

It’s only a little wild because really it’s just super cute!

The stamps have a front & a back of each animal – and matching dies to make them into tags!

I can see all kinds of uses for this bundle, but this week I just used the cute little elephant to create a personalised baby card.

I gave my lightbox another go to take these photos only to decide that I’ve been totally spoilt by natural light in the past few months!

So, I think it’ll be back to my wood table & brick wall for the rest of this week!

The elephant is my favourite stamp from this set – so perfect for new little people!

She’s a little shy looking with closed eyes, but with a Stampin’ Write Marker, I was able to open her up with bright eyes!

I used one of the cute sentiments in the stamp set to add some prettiness to the inside too!  And another elephant – and some of the gorgeous new washi tape!

So many pretties!

I love gray as a coordinating colour!  Gray & pink, and gray and yellow are two of my favourite baby combinations!

I’ve got more ‘wild’ projects to share with you later in the week – sparked by an idea I saw on Pinterest!

How many hours a day do you spend on Pinterest compared to actually creating?  I think if you can strike an even balance, you’re doing well!
