Father’s Day – Day 1: Traveler

Father’s Day in Australia is this Sunday.  I’ve had a few posts in the last month with ideas for cards, but this week I’m giving you 4 back to back Father’s Day creations.  Something for everyone!  Or, if you don’t need a Father’s Day Card – swap out the sentiment for something you do need (happy birthday, thanks, hello…) and you’ll have 4 days of inspiration for cards for men/boys.

One for the Men – Beer Bottle Gift Box

Last week I posted a link to a tutorial for a Mini Champagne Bottle Box made using the Envelope Punch Board.  I thought it wasn’t fair that the men missed out – so, good news!  The bottle box also fits a bottle of beer.  ‘Cheers!”  This is a great one for a friend’s birthday, colleague thank you, or even something special for Dad (Father’s Day is only 2 weeks away)!  I love giving gifts and I love it even more when they are beautifully packaged with a cute tag!  Kelly x

Masculine Mayhem!

On Thursday night, 5 lovely ladies joined me for a night of cardmaking.  The theme was cards that would be suitable for a male.  I often hear that masculine cards are the hardest to come up with, so hopefully these ideas help you out a little.  Although my designs were made with “Father’s Day” (and happy birthday) sentiments, most of the ladies chose other ones to put on their card fronts including “happy birthday”, “lucky you” & “from me to you”.  The variety in SU! is great!

If you like what you see, are in Bunbury and you’re interested in attending a card class like this one, contact me.  I can invite you to the next one or you can host your own (host your own & earn rewards).  Kelly x

Splash & Play, Happy Father’s Day!

Don’t worry, it’s not Father’s Day this weekend!  We sometimes need to do things out of order in our house, and Father’s Day is one of those things.  Mr Papercraft is heading out diving today with friends, so we have given him his Father’s Day present early this year.  He now adds a Shark Shield to his stash of diving equipment.  Having recently returned to diving as a hobby, Mr P. is slowly building up his supplies and we thought we’d like him more as “Daddy” than shark food, hence the present!  Every good present, needs a matching card … and I love my punch art.  Happy Father’s Day to the most wonderful, giving, patient and fun Dad who we adore!  Kelly and the Little Miss Papercrafts x
