May was a busy birthday month for our Paper Adventures Team. I’ve continued with my yellow theme for birthday cards this month – to match a gift that I’ll keep a secret for now (don’t want to spoil it for the rest of the year’s birthdays).
These cards were made using mini cards from the What a Year Memories and More pack.
I liken these sets to another pack of DSP – albeit a little smaller and a little thicker than DSP but still with the same great designs and colours you love from Stampin’ Up! You get 52 cards (small & large) and 4 sticker sheets in the pack. No two cards are the same – so there’s lots of and lots of variety of patterns.
I picked the yellow (Bumblebee) tones from the small cards and cut each card into three 1-1/4” pieces. I’ve then layered the three different patterns onto a Basic White mat (embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder) and then onto a Bumbeebee mat, before layering this piece onto a Thick Basic White card base.
The sentiment is from the Biggest Wish stamp set – my fave in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. Bumblebee for the BIRTHDAY and Early Espresso for the ‘happy’.
Three lots of the patterned cards made three full size cards. A couple for team birthdays and a spare for the stash.
Although I loved the yellow card, I couldn’t stop creating with the Memories & More cards. Check back in tomorrow – I’ll be sharing 4 more cards using the What a Year Design and Biggest Wish stamp set.
