Butterfly Brilliance

Morning! Today I’m sharing a pretty little bundle that wasn’t a surprise to see in the new catalogue. While we were waiting for the new catalogue to launch, Stampin’ Up! were kind enough to let us order the Butterfly Brilliance bundle early. There was also a special release DSP that sold out in a matter of weeks – luckily there’s lots of other great DSP patterns in the current 2 catalogues that we can pair with this bundle.

You’ll find the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and Brilliant Wings Dies in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. The butterflies form one large stamp which is perfect to use as one piece – or to cut up and add the individual butterflies to your cards. The die set has options to cut out the outline of the butterflies, detailed butterflies and a series of coordinating pieces.

Although I love the butterflies in this set, it was really the bricks in the die set that made me swoon. Such a cute patch of texture. I’ve cut two brick sets on each card front and layered Ice Cream Corner DSP behind it for a watercolour effect.

The first card is pink & yellow tones – as guided by the DSP. The butterflies are stamped in Early Espresso. I love the richness of this ink and how easy it it to get a full colour on the stamp with minimal effort.

I’ve combined this bundle with the Brushed Blooms stamp set from the Jan-June 2021 Mini Catalogue for the sentiment and splatters of texture on the white.

The one piece butterfly stamp gives you six butterflies at a time – more than enough for a couple of cards (inside & out!). The second card uses purple tones – Highland Heather & Blackberry Bliss.

The Pastel Pearl embellishments were the perfect finish for these cards. Large in size and shiny & lustrous, they add a pretty elegance.

If you didn’t get this bundle in the early pre-release, make sure to add it to your wish list for a future shopping cart. Butterflies always make a wonderful crafting staple and this bundle is a great option to add to your collection.

I hope you have a wonderful week!
