Just Add Ink #547 | photo inspiration

It’s time – time for another Just Add Ink challenge. This week we have a fabulous photo inspiration for you. Use it to get started on some Easter crafting or let it inspiration another type of project for you.

I’ve used it to get crafty with a sentiment that I was so excited to receive. The Brushed Blooms stamp set has the sentiment “let’s paint the town as long as I’m home by 9:00”. Such a fun greeting – and so true of my preferred way of celebrating these days. I can craft until the early hours of the morning but if I’m out and about I’m yawning by 9pm!

There’s so many pretty colours in the wreath – I tried to capture most of them in the brushstrokes along the side of the card. In order they are Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Gray Granite, Pretty Peacock, Coastal Cabana, Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, So Saffron, Smoky Slate, Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose and Merry Merlot.

The dies in Beautiful Brushstrokes Dies cut three layers of two different types of rose. I’ve cut all three layers in Basic White cardstock and layered them together for lots of texture. The leaves are Mint Macaron, cut using another die from the set.

And the final touch is that sentiment!!! White heat embossed on Rococo Rose cardstock and then cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die.

What kind of party life do you enjoy? Home by 9? Or just getting started at 9?

This project is only one of many from the Just Add Ink Design Team. You can see the rest of the DT projects over the Just Add Ink blog. You can also join in the challenge there too – show us what this inspiration picture inspires to you create!

Have a wonderful weekend of crafty fun!
