I have chosen to get inky with the Touch of Ink stamp set (and added in a touch of Oh So Ombre DSP too!).

It’s all about the soft subtle tones for this card, inspired by the ombre pinks of the Oh So Ombre DSP. This is an offcut I had after making cards for the Stamp Review Crew So Sentimental hop last week. Click here to see those cards! Are you a crafter that never throws out anything? I hoard all kinds of DSP scraps!

The stamp set is a 2 step style with outlines and watercolour style colouring stamps, but I wanted the effect of colouring with in a Blender Pen. I really like the variation in colour depending on where you start colouring first on the image. The leaves are Soft Sea Foam, the flowers are So Saffron and the bird is a mix of Rococo Rose and Blushing Bride. The outlines are all stamped in Basic Gray to soften up the tones for the subtles.

The finishing touches for this card – hello friend sentiment in Memento black, a border from the Ornate Borders Dies and pearl accents from the Pastel Pearls Embellishments.
Next up is the gorgeous Nikki Spencer, another Australian 🙂 To see a list of the whole line up, you can visit the Stamp Review Crew blog by clicking here.
We hope you enjoy the hop. Check in next Monday when we share projects using a new catalogue stamp set that I know you’ll love!
Have a wonderful week!!!

This is just gorgeous! I’m a scrap hoarder too, and I love seeing examples that make use of them!

Gorgeous layers, Kelly! I love all the depth of your card.
I love your card! Just that little bit of the ombré paper brings that to the next level without having to sponge or blend! 👍🏻😊
