Happy Boxing Day! As we head into that glorious period between Christmas and New Year where we are lucky enough to all be on holidays here at Papercraft HQ, it’s mighty hard to remember what day it is! But with nothing on the agenda other than what to eat next and when we’re next going swimming, that’s not really a problem!
How was your Christmas yesterday? Did some of the most lovely presents under the tree have your name on them? Did you get to spend the day with family & friends? Was the day peaceful and merry? I hope at least one of these things happened for you, if not all three. We had a lovely day with my family – eating, drinking and enjoying the beautifully warm weather.
As well as celebrating Christmas at this time of the year, we also celebrate my brother’s birthday, which was just a few days before Christmas.
As well as a board game he wanted, I took a gamble on getting him pineapple cider for his present. It was a lucky choice and he loved it! Not one to pass up the opportunity to coordinate a gift and card, this creation was a mix of the gift bag his present was packed into and the pineapple cider theme.

The pineapple die cut is from the In the Tropics Dies in Basic Black for the fruit and Gold Foil for the leaves. The DSP is from a retired one from my stash – I’d tell you which one but I can’t find it now! My retired DSP stash is extensive – I can’t bear to part with any of it in case it’s perfect for a card in the future (like this one).

I kept the front sentiment free and added ‘happy birthday’ to the middle in gold metallic ink – another retired favourite. The Approaching Perfection stamp set is a new one you’ll be able to earn for free in Jan & Feb 2021 with any $90 purchase as part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion.

Simple is good when it comes to those guy cards!
Happy birthday to my baby bro. You can check out his beautiful photography on his instagram – The Life of Py.
