Hello! It’s another week and another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. I always love Mondays when I get to hop with my international Stampin’ Up! friends. Today we’re all creating using the Wrapped in Christmas stamp set.
It contains 10 fabulous sentiments that you can use for all your cards this festive season.
My cards today have the same basic layout and design using two of the sentiments from this set. The first one features the NOEL stamp. The stitching detail on this stamp is so pretty!
The colours for this card are Just Jade, Mint Macaron and Pretty Peacock. I always love an ombre colour palette!
You might be able to do the background stamping on a Stamparatus – but I just eyeball the position and go for it! It’s not perfect, but it doesn’t need to be!
If you’re joining me at Social Stamping this morning, this is one of the cards we are making. If you live in the Bunbury area, we’d love to have you come along and craft with us. Every Monday morning for the next 8 weeks – 9.30am at Taste of Dalyellup cafe. All the event details are on my Facebook page.
The other card I’m sharing using the same background stamping technique using the ‘peace on earth’ stamp.
The colours for this card are Rococo Rose, Night of Navy and Smoky Slate. Another favourite combination of mine!
The ‘peace on earth’ sentiment in the Wrapped in Christmas stamp set also appears in the Peace & Joy bundle. What a perfect combination! And for even more amazing coordination, I’ve added in the globe from the World Map Dies. These products work so well together!
The hop continues for more Christmas inspiration with Cindy Elam…
I hope your week is wonderful!
Absolutely love these cards, Kelly!
Love the idea of using the sentiment as a background stamp!
Great cards and I too love how you used it for a background and eyeballing it is just fine 😉
Beautifully done backgrounds. They are so perfect. How the heck did you do them on an angle?
