Stamp Review Crew | Timeless Tropical

Happy Monday! I’m hopping with my lovely friends from around the world for the Stamp Review Crew. You can see the Stamp Review Crew blog for the full list of participants.

The chosen stamp set for today is Timeless Tropical, a carryover into the 2020 Annual Catalogue.

Recently, I made a postcard style card for a Social Stamping using the Silhouette Scenes stamp set. When planning a project for this hop, I thought another version with the palm trees would look cool!

With so many of us being under travel restrictions due to COVID, the option to see the tropical imagery in person are limited! I’m looking forward to a sunny and sweet blog hop today filled with sweet tropical dreams!

I stamped the trees in Versamark and then heat embossed them in black, before cutting with rectangle dies and inking using makeup brushes & ink pads.

I used the 2020 In Colors for the postcard. The panels are Bumblebee, Just Jade and Magenta Madness. The base is Misty Moonlight and the sentiment is Cinnamon Cider.

The reverse side is stamped with images from the Swirly Frames stamp set to form the postcard structure and then themed with more of the Timeless Tropical stamps.

If you’re chasing some holiday vibes and summer fun, there’s more ahead on the hop.

Next is the fun & fabulous Mike Funke in the US.

Thanks for hopping with us! Have a great week!!

  1. I love the In Colors but the real surprise is the postcard layout on the backside. So creative!

  2. Kelly – the fact that the design is so simple and the colors are so impactful is the perfect combination. And I love the idea of a post card. Gorgeous!
