Hey there, thanks for joining us for week 4 of the Social Stamping Blog Host. It’s been a wonderful opportunity to connect with my stamping friends and allow us to share with the wider crafting community.
You can see previous weeks of the Blog Host by clicking on the themes below:
Week 1: Hello
Week 2: Thank You
Week 3: Rainbows
The theme for today’s blog hop is ‘friend’, because we all need one in uncertain times like these. Perhaps you have a friend who has lost their job and could do with some happy mail? Maybe a friend who is now exclusively at home full time with multiple mini-me’s who want feeding & entertaining all the time and she needs to hear that someone is thinking of her? Is there a friend you know who is working tirelessly at this time because they are in an essential role and the demands of their job went from 10->100 without warning? Do you have a friend who brings out the best in you at this overwhelming time?
Whatever the reason, how nice would it be if we flooded the (already busy) postal system with some mail designed to brighten someone’s day. Worried about sending or receiving the virus by mail? The scientific consensus seems to be that the virus can only live on paper up to 24 hours. So, mail is very likely to lose any risk of being contagious as it transits. If you are especially worried about receiving mail, leave it to quarantine for 24 hours after arriving. Of course, if you have an active case of the virus, please wait to send your mail until you are no longer at risk of infecting others.
We invite you to hop through the designers participating in today’s hop who have all created projects suitable to send to a friend. You are welcome to CASE (copy) the cards on the hop – but please remember to give credit where credit is due! Let’s turn those projects from craft creations to happiness creators!
Below is the master list of participants. Click on the designers below to see their project. Some bloggers may link to the next blog, but to keep things simple, this was an optional requirement.
Thanks once again to all my lovely stamping friends for joining in. Without you all, it just isn’t the same! Stamps are what often bring us to Stampin’ Up!, the friendships are what means the most!
