It’s always a pleasure to be hopping with my stamping friends from around the world. Today we’re all sharing projects we’ve made with Sale-A-Bration catalogue items.
Sale-A-Bration is the most wonderful time of year – who doesn’t love free stuff for working their way through their Stampin’ Up! wishlist. You can see all the Sale-A-Bration items for 2020 by clicking here.
The Sale-A-Bration stamp set I have most fallen in love with this year was a big surprise for me. I instantly loved the meerkat set (The Gang’s All Meer) but it has actually been the Happy Birthday to You stamp set that has been my fave!
The cake is just stunning, the sentiments gorgeous and the flowers can be cut separately – which adds so many more options for this set.
I created these three cards using my favourite technique with this set – white embossing and watercolouring. The cakes just pop!
I’ve matched the colours for each card with the colours in the Best Dressed DSP for three different variations.
The scalloped rectangle for the background layer is from a new die set called Stitched So Sweetly. You can never have too many stitched dies!
Before you start thinking that I’ve got this fussy cutting down to a fine art, I’ll share with you that Stampin’ Up! released a range of coordinating products to match some of the Sale-A-Bration & Mini catalogue items. So, if you love the Happy Birthday to You stamp set and plan to choose it as your Sale-A-Bration free product, make sure to add the coordinating Birthday Dies to your order ($47 – 153590).

Thanks for hopping with me in Australia. Next up is Lou Kitzelman over on the other coast of Australia who has been creating some amazing designs this summer!
Stay tuned for more Sale-A-Bration releases in March. There will be 3 new stamp set to redeem and 2 specialty papers. Available 2nd – 31st March 2020.
