Our Paper Adventures team is sneaking in a blog hop tonight – just in time before we miss November.
It’s been a busy month for us all with the usual family and stamping activities – but we also added in a trip to Perth for OnStage. 11 of my direct team, my upline, my sideline and 2 Paper Adventures adoptees joined in the fun for a day of friendship and new product releases.
We got to see what’s coming up in the 2020 January – June catalogue (formally known as the Occasions catalogue) and take home some new treats to try.
Tonight we’re sharing the first plays with our new stamps, punches, dies and other soon to be released pretties. Thank you to Shannon Kissane who joins us as our guest designer. Shannon is Perth girl, so it was awesome to see her again at OnStage.
Part of my OnStage experience for the last few years has been attending the CentreStage leadership event on the Friday night prior to the event. This is the small but very talented group in Perth.
We get the chance to network with other leaders, have a yummy dinner and we often get an extra special little gift. This year we got a gorgeous business card holder in the poppy theme of the event and a new stamp set called My Meadow.
This sweet set has the same styling as other favourites such as Waterfront and Snow Front using watercolour-esque drawings that can be layered to create pretty scenes. I just love the gazebo, bridge and wheelbarrow imagery.
I’ve been wanting to try a Double Slider card for a while now and this was such a perfect set to be able to show off the range of stamps across the three panels. I followed a great youtube tutorial by Teri Pocock – see it here. Terri has also been kind enough to share a breakdown of the measurements on her blog – visit here.
Here’s a video of my card so you can see how it works. A little like magic, when you pull the bottom, the top slides out too. It’s all thanks to a clever slider mechanism on the inside of the card which is so simple to make when you have Teri’s tutorial to follow.
Here’s some photos of the card – the dimensions make it a little hard to photograph, so I clipped it to my hallway photo rail.

The middle featuring the wheelbarrow..
And the bottom panel featuring the trees…
The colours for this card are a Sahara Sand base, Pool Party contrast and Whisper White mats. The DSP is from the Subtles DSP collection.
The My Meadow stamp set is sentiment free, so you can match it with your favourite words. I’ve chosen sentiments from a set that I was able to pre-earn from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration promotion.(Jan-March 2020) called Sending You Thoughts. It ticks all my boxes – I love the font, it has a happy birthday stamp and it’s FREE!!
You’re going to see lots of new catalogue sneak peeks from demonstrators around the world over the next month and a bit until the catalogue goes live. Every Stampin’ Up! demonstrator has access to order early from Tuesday 3rd Dec 2019. New catalogue items can be added to a Starter Kit, so if you just can’t wait to get your hands on all the great product you see online, then joining my Paper Adventures team might be for you. Starter Kits are just $169 and packed full of customisable value. Click here for more information.
Next up with more OnStage inspired inspiration is our guest designer Shannon Kissane.
Have a great weekend,
