For the past many years I’ve mainly shared on my blog the projects I’ve made using only products available in the online store (at the time of posting). This means that some of the cute & fun projects made for special people or special occasions that contained retired product didn’t make it here.
With my change of direction for 2019, I’ve decided to start adding more of a variety. I’m still buying new – so there’ll be new ones, but I’ll also add in retired favourites. I know many of you keep your Stampin’ Up! and have craft rooms filled with things no longer found in catalogues – but also that you still love and use these products. Lets add some new inspiration!
Today’s share is a llamacorn (a totally trendy llama and unicorn mix) for a 9 year old birthday card. I didn’t realise llamacorns were a thing – but they are and surprisingly fun to make!
To create your own llamacorn, I used a mix of retired Stampin’ Up! and the Magical Unicorn stamp & die set made by a company called Pink Fresh.
Head – Cloud die from the Rainbow Builder Dies (retired)
Face – Heart die from Sweet & Sassy Dies (retired)
Snout – 1″ circle punch, mini heart punch (retired), hand drawn mouth)
Neck – hand cut
Hair – Sliding Star Dies (retired) watercoloured on Shimmery White
Horn, flower, ears & eyes from Pink Fresh Bundle
DSP – Painted with Love (retired)
Frame – Rectangle Stitched Dies in Gold Foil
Sentiment – And Many More stamp set (retired) with Classic Label Punch
Cardstock base – Blushing Bride
Llamacorn cardstock – Whisper White
Punch art is a first love of mine, so you can imagine how much fun it was to put this together!
Here’s one more photo 🙂
Thanks for letting me share all that I love!
