We’re starting CTC for 2019 with a Sale-A-Bration hop.  There’s 19 pages of fabulous showing not only the great free products on offer until the end of March, but also Occasions & Annual Catalogue products they coordinate with.

I’ve chosen to case the layout & colours from the bag on page 6 and turn it into a card.

This layout is very versatile – an embossed background, central element and overlayed sentiment.  You could make it work for pretty much any set in the catalogue.

I’ve used the Needle & Thread bundle – primarily inspired by the sensational embossing die in the Needlepoint Elements Framelits.  I could use this on every card I make – it’s so pretty!

The detail in the stamps are amazing – just like they’ve been stitched!  I’ve used Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake to match the inspiration picture.

The ‘friend’ word is from a fabulous new bundle called Well Said.  It contains 51 cling stamps in the stamp set with various greetings and 24 dies containing staple words for papercrafting.  It’s an investment – but worth it with all the use you’ll get from this set.

It’s great to be back creating for challenges.  They are always such a source of inspiration for me.  I’m most inspired with a purpose and some direction – I suffer from severe lack of motivation without a specific card or task in mind!

  1. So nice to see you back, Kelly. Trust Baby Papercraft is growing well and you are enjoying him. Trust you’ve settled into the new house well.

  2. I love it all! Stunning stamping and colours and die cutting and the stitched background is just wonderful. What a beautiful card.

  3. What a great choice of elements to swap for. I wasn’t sure about the needlepoint set but this crew is making it harder to resist. The Well Said bundle is going to be super versatile. Love everything about this Kelly x

  4. You know this is one of my favourite sets, I love the card you’ve created. I haven’t used brown tones for leaves very often but your card makes them look so pretty I will have to remember this as an option for future. how delicious is that stitched background die, Liz
