Hello! It’s been oh-so-quiet on my blog of late. I’m still spending lots of time with Baby Papercraft – but how could I resist this gorgeous smile?
Not only did we add a baby to Team Papercraft this year, we also added a house! So the last month has been crazy busy with packing, moving & all the things that come with acquiring a new house.
On the upside, the new house comes with enough space for a craft room! So after many, many, many years of crafting amongst the chaos, I have my very own space to create. Now, if I could only conjure up some time to spend in my special craft room, the world would be perfect!!! I have that to look forward to!!!
Although blogging has slipped down my priority list recently, I didn’t want to miss our team hop, so I’ve snuck into the craft room between baby feeds and big kid activities and created a couple of cards to share for our Christmas themed hop.
Big thanks to the talented Shannon Kissane for being our guest designer this hop! Wasn’t her Christmas project amazing???
Since my craft time is limited, I decided I wanted to create deluxe cards. I pulled out the stunning Joyous Noel Specialty DSP, shiny Copper Foil and copper embossing to create this fancy fold design I’ve been desperate to try after seeing it on Patty Bennett’s Facebook.
It’s called a double easel card and they are so easy to make but so stunning!!!
So stunning I made it in two colours!!!
The first is Merry Merlot, Sahara Sand and copper.
I’ve taken lots of photos to show you all the angles – which is actually ironic because I haven’t yet worked out what the best option is for photos in the new house! So they are highly average…. but you get the idea!
The card is a normal card base with a folded front attached. I’ll add measurements & instructions to this post soon (when I have more time!!!)
The second is Tranquil Tide, Gray Granite & copper – with gorgeous reindeer!!!
It fold flat for posting but stands up for display. I love any card with this feature!
Do you have a favourite? I love both creations but you know I’m a pushover for anything with reindeer!
Thanks for joining us tonight! Next up on the hop is Mandy Depiazzi with her fabulous Christmas creation!

These are stunning! That paper well deserves being showcased like this. I’m super impressed with you managing to whip these up in all that spare time you have at the moment. Between the baby, the big girls, moving house, travel, pineapples, and some impressive crafting, have you had any time for sleep??
They are both stunning Kelly, I love both colour schemes, I can’t wait to get the measurements xx
Gorgeous cards as usual Kelly, I love both of them! So pretty anyone would be happy to receive these x
