We’re celebrating the Brights for Colour INKspiration #37.
I love the Brights! On most days they are easily my favourite collection – but I struggled a little with this challenge. Maybe it was just choosing three – or not being able to combine them with other colours to make them shine! Too much bright???
I got there in the end with a whimsical watercolour theme.
I started with Shimmery White cardstock, a lot of water and my three Brights – Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape & Melon Mambo.
Once this was done, I somehow got to a flamingo theme. Maybe because the watercolour reminded me of a style of watercolour painting I love with animals painted in wonderful colours.
I love this emu painted by Vanessa Perske for the Love Your Sister charity.
When I chose my colours, I hadn’t intended to be able to embellish with Glitter Enamel Dots – but in a wonderful twist of crafting fate, the new colours include Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape & Melon Mambo!!! (and Granny Apple Green).
What’s your favourite Brights trio? We’d love for you to join the challenge via our Facebook group. Click here to join.
Your project needs to have 3 colours from the Brights collection to be eligible to be part of the top 5 voting for the challenge. You can add any of the Basics (Whisper White, Basic Black & Very Vanilla) and metallics if you want some bling!
As usual, the design team came up with amazing projects this week. This hop is full of fun, creative designs!
