CASEing the Catty #185 | Best Route

Life is chilly (and wet on some days) in the south-west corner of Australia at the moment.  Which makes it perfect crafting weather.  I confess to a few pyjama days lately spent at the craft table!  And perhaps plans for a few more!

Thanks for joining me tonight for CASEing the Catty where we take inspiration from the pages of the Stampin’ Up! catalogue.

This week it’s the Best Route suite and subsequent pages.

I seem to make a lot of baby cards for challenges!  This one was inspired by the pink dreamcatcher card on page 54.

The card is going to the parents of a little princess born during the week, so I kept the pretty Blushing Bride colour scheme.

Other colours in this card are silver embossing & foil, Blushing Bride watercolouring on Shimmery White and Rose Glimmer paper (new & improved).

The Follow Your Dreams stamp set & coordinating Chase Your Dreams Framelits are beautiful!

I added the Tufted Embossing Folder to the background layer – which I had previously overlooked in the catalogue, but quickly added because it’s gorgeous!!!

The personalised name pennant was made using the Pick a Pennant stamp set and that beautiful ribbon you see is from the Metallic Ribbon combo pack.

Next up you’re visiting the lovely Megan Lenkse in sunny QLD!

  1. Love this to bits Kelly! The glimmer layer on the dream catcher is so pretty, and the vellum feathers are so soft.

  2. oh that’s so sweet. You’ve been very patient with the letter banner- and I love it. Thanks for pointing out the gorgeous metallic ribbon, and yes the tufted EF is wonderful. Your card is very dainty and totally baby. Clever girl, Enjoy those pyjama days!!

  3. Love the vellum feathers, and a personalised card is always a brilliant way to really make it special. These colours are stunning too. You really have shown off this set to perfection. Stunning. We’re on school holidays now so there could quite a few pyjama days here too! Yay!
