Despite two the colours in this combination not being my favourites – I adore the colour challenge we have for you for Colour INKspiration #33!
Marina Mist and Always Artichoke are both on the retirement list as part of the colour revamp – and there aren’t too many tears being shed here. Always Artichoke remains one of the only colours I’ve never bought a full pack of cardstock for!!
Strangely though, it adds just the right amount of contrast in this pretty blue & neutral palette.
I love blue, beige and white/cream together. I don’t often use Very Vanilla but loved the creamy tones it added to this project.
Inspired by the honey tin in the picture and the gorgeous flower arrangement, I have made a tri-fold card with a floral bee theme.
It features two stamp sets and a favourite die set. The flower & bees are from the Garden of Love stamp set and the sentiment is from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set. Garden of Love is retiring at the end of this month.
The jar element & leafy detail are from the Everyday Jars framelits – I love this set!
I also added a panel of Hexagons embossing in keeping with the bee theme!
The dimensions of this tri-fold card are the length of an A4 sheet (11-3/4″), trimmed at 5-7/8″ across the short side. Score at 3-7/8″ from each edge (across the long side). Fold inwards & score.

This is super sweet – just like honey (I crack myself up teehee). I love the trifold idea with the bee peeping through the window. And the watercoloured flower is stunning. These blues are gorgeous together. What a great card.
This is so pretty! It has a lot going on without being too busy. I don’t know why you have such a downer on MM, it is such a lovely blue 😛
Love a fancy fold card Kelly and your blue flower is just lovely ( always partial to a jar on any card!!). You are right, it is a surprise how well AA goes with the blues. Very fresh.
It is beautiful love all the colours and the bee.
Love your card Kelly. It is so subtle and pretty. I too never bought any Awful Artichoke card stock
I always thought this colour was uuugh lol
This is a bit cute Kelly, l love the trifold and hex layer and l’ll be sad to see that pretty flower retire. xx
