Colour challenges are always so much fun so I was disappointed to miss the first challenge for April. It couldn’t happen twice, so I’ve made sure I found the time to create for Colour INKspiration #32!
These colours are great together bold & sweet all at the same time.
With lots of talk about what’s disappearing from the Stampin’ Up! range as we near the new catalogue, it’s also fun to look ahead to what stamp sets we’ll each be keeping for another year of inkiness!
High Tide is one of those sets we can use for at least another year.
I love all the images in this set to create serene costal scenes – like these birds having a paddle at dusk.
Although blue is fairly traditional for a sea & moon scene, I love the freshness the non-traditional Pink Pirouette give the card.
And then a pop of gold is always fun!!!
I don’t often sponge on cards – and I think my reflection lining up could use some work – but it’s fun to try different things on cards!
The hop continues with my gorgeous friend – Nicole Wilson – who lives just up the road (by Australian standards – she’s 160kms / 100 miles away!!!)
Join the challenge by adding your creation on our Facebook group – Colour INKspiration Challenges. It’s so much fun to see what you create and I know you’re going to go crazy over this combination!!!

I love it , just beautiful.
WOW Kelly, I never have seen this set used with feminine type colours. Perfect use of the challenge colours with this stunning card.
I agree with Kim. The beautiful scene you have created with this set is a real stunner. You’ve made me see so many more possibilities with High Tide.
Beautiful card, Kelly. Love that you embossed those birds – so cute & clever. You cracked me up with your “just down the road” reference! Hope you had a wonderful time in Thailand x
