Are you up for a fun weekend challenge?
Just Add Ink are adding….. {SHAKERS}
There’s something about sequins, sparkles & moving pieces that take a card to the next level!
See all the design team shaker cards on the Just Add Ink Blog.
You can also add your own shaker card to the challenge gallery.
I was inspired by the works of Jackie Aitken this week – a fellow JAI design team member. Jackie has been posting some seriously awesome pocket cards lately and I wanted to try it out!
This is my version styled using the Picture Perfect Party suite…
The shaker element is hiding in the pocket….
A little unorthodox, but I’m planning for Miss Papercraft to use a sharpie and write the birthday message onto the vellum!!!
Did you spy the coordination between the Picture Perfect Party DSP – confetti photography & the circle shaker pieces. Such a simple shaker insert to make using 3/4″ circles in the coordinating colours – Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay, Lemon Lime Twist, Peekaboo Peach & Whisper White.
The Picture Perfect Paper Ribbon was a late withdrawal from the Occasions catalogue due to supply issues. It doesn’t matter though – it’s so easy to make using a strip of cardstock sewn down the middle & finished with paper snips. Cute paper ribbon in any colour!!
Nothing says happiest birthday wishes like these colours do! I can’t wait to make some more fun & bright pocket cards!!!
