Hello everyone! It’s been a little quiet on the blog this week as I balance finding some craft time together with going back to work. 10 weeks of long service leave went way too quickly!!!
I’m checking back in today with the Stamping Sunday Design Team to share ideas for two of the kits in the Occasions Catalogue.
Join the team as they share spin off designs & projects from the Lots of Happy Kit & Perennial Birthday Kit.
For the full link up list, click on the cute little blue froggie.
View the kits in the online store by clicking on the links below…
The Lots of Happy Kit is an all-inclusive kits and supplies all the materials you need for 20 cards including envelopes. You’ll also get a stamp set to keep, black ink spot, 4 watercolour pencils, ombre ribbon and dimensionals. 2 of the Watercolour Pencil colours are exclusive to this kit! You may like to purchase an Aqua Painter to use with the Watercolour Pencil if you don’t already own one.
The Perennial Birthday card coordinates with the gorgeous Perennial Birthday stamp set. You can choose to use stamps you already have in your collection to finish this kit or purchase the Perennial Birthday stamp set to use with the kit. This kit has supplies for 16 cards, including envelopes and a beautiful storage box for the finished set of cards – complete with dividers.
All Stampin’ Up! kits come with written instructions and videos are available on the Stampin’ Up! YouTube channel. Click here to visit.
I love using the kits as extra supplies in my stash to create some different designs.
Today I’m sharing three cards I’ve made using supplies from the kit together with the Wood Textures DSP.
The first card I made used the flower cut out from the kit, the watercolour pencils and the ‘lots + lots of happy’ sentiment.
By changing the background to the Stitched Shapes squares cut from a series of scraps I had from another Wood Textures DSP project, I was able to change the look from the card kit designs to something completely different!
Continuing on with the Wood Textures theme, I used another sentiment to create a birthday card…
And a final one using the Waterfront stamp set and another sentiment from the Lots of Happy Kit…
This stamp set is photopolymer so I’ve cut the thank you part away from the ‘for being a friend’ part so I can use just the thank you or join it back together on the block and use all of it.
I love that the all-inclusive kits give you a stamp set to keep! They are always full of a variety of useful sentiments.
If you’d like to store yours with your other stamp sets, you can purchase the clear cases as a pack of 4 and download & print the case cover by clicking on the link image below.

That’s all from me for Stamping Sunday. After a lovely year designing with Sara Levin & the team, this is my last blog hop. I’d like to thank Sara for the opportunity and the Stamping Sunday team for their creativity & friendship.
