Can you believe it’s Monday again? And the second Monday of the month, so I’m delighted to be hopping with the Stamp Review Crew.
The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world who get together on the first and third Monday of each month and all create using the same stamp set.
Today we’re sharing ideas for the Picture Perfect Birthday set.
You’ll find this gorgeous set on page 5 of the Occasions catalogue. It’s part of the Picture Perfect Party suite – which really is ‘perfect’ because there’s a whole range of coordinating products to work with also!
This stamp set is a mix of fabulous sentiments (love those fonts) and cute party images!
I’ve made two cards to share with you today. They both feature the Picture Perfect Party DSP – it’s too fun not to use!!!
The first one uses the cute “wonderful, brilliant, fabulous” sentiment and the candles
The sentiment is stamped in versamark, then heat embossed with white powder. Then, using my Stampin’ Blends, I coloured over the wonderful, brilliant & fabulous. Such an awesome way to add some pop to the sentiment. After colouring, I liberally coloured the words with my Clear Wink of Stella pen. Perhaps a bit too liberally – but can you ever have too much glitter???
Both my cards use the same colour combination – lifted from the colours in the DSP.
I think the catalogue lists Peekaboo Peach, but I’ve upped the intensity to Pumpkin Pie!
This is my second card. I’ve added in a confetti throwing panda. I just love that sentiment!!!
He’s from the Party Pandas stamp set that you can select as your {FREE} Sale-A-Bration order with any $90 purchase.
Confetti tip: punch out perfect little confetti dots using the Cookie Builder punch. Don’t try to add glue to the confetti and stick to your card. Instead, dab tiny dots of tombow glue to your card and drop the confetti dots on top. This will give you great placement and no mess (if you keep the dots of glue teeny tiny!).
Thanks for hopping with me today!!!
If you’ve only made it through a few posts or you’re starting here, make sure to keep pressing next to jump through the whole Crew. The inspiration is “perfect”!
From here, you’re off to visit the gorgeous Mickey Roberts in the US.
If you’d like to purchase any of the items you see on the hop, my online store is available for Australian customers. Click here to browse.
Thanks for visiting!
