Hello! And thanks for joining me for my last design team committment of 2017.
I’ve loved every post I’ve shared this year acros all my design team involvement including Just Add Ink, CASEing the Catty, Stamp Review Crew, Colour INKspiration & Stamping Sunday.
Design team cards – and all challenge entries – bring out the best in my creativity. I’m terrible with a blank slate for creating, but give me a starting point and I’m away & running!!!
Today’s challenge from Just Add Ink was exactly like that. After so many Christmas card designs during 2017, starting from way back in February, I’ve been excited about having my Occasions Catalogue pre-order to play with for some variety.
But then came this challenge and the Christmas creativity was sparked again!!!
You’ll see from the design team cards on the Just Add Ink blog, your design doesn’t have to be Christmas themed. The choose two element of this fun challenge means you can have twine & tags for a birthday project, or even trees & twine of a non-Christmas theme.
I have gone down the Christmas road with Twine & Trees….
It’s a shame I don’t have a ‘press here for smell’ button – I scented the ribbon with a holiday blend of essential oils!
I’d love to send this card to someone who visits my blog (anywhere in the world is fine!). Leave a comment on my blog with your favourite thing about Christmas. I’ll pick a recipient on Christmas Eve and pop it in the post next week. It won’t arrive in time for Christmas – but it’s never the wrong time to get happy mail!!!
Merry Christmas, hope your final days of preparation are stress-free and wonderful!
If you’ve done all your shopping, wrapped all your presents and find yourself with some free time at the craft table, please join us over the the Just Add Ink blog and upload your twine-trees-tags creation!
I love your creations, Kelly, no matter what the theme! My favourite thing about Christmas, apart from the family get-togethers, is the opportunity to contact neighbours with a small gift and card and to thank them for being our neighbour. My gift is usually a jar of blackberry jam. I have made many new friends this way.
Have a lovely Christmas with your family.
Like Ruth above, I too gift my neighbours little treats at Christmas. I have beautiful neighbours & it’s a nice way to thank them for being just that!
Great card, Kelly, & I so wish I could smell it. This is an awesome way to use up scraps of ribbon, or dsp….Have a wonderful Christmas with your beautiful family, & hope to catch up again next year. xxx
Great card Kelly, thanks for all your inspiration.

Such a cute card. I very much enjoy following you and viewing your creations. You have provided much inspiration.
What a fun idea Kelly! I love your tree, it’s multi dimensional and multi scentsational 😉 Merry Christmas xxx
Such a gorgeous card Kelly! So creative to use a real part of tree and some gorgeous scented oils as well. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and hope to catch up again next year.xx
I love the CAS design, and your colours just *pop!* on the white card front so well. Love the touch of nature with the twig tree 😉 x
