How’s your Christmas card prep going?
I’d like to say I’m organised, but Christmas is coming at me so fast…!
Thankfully, there’s challenges like CASEing the Catty to keep me inspired with new card designs each week.
This week at CASEing the Catty, we are finding inspiration from a colour combination within the pages of either the Annual Catalogue or Holiday Catalogue.
Since I’m on a mission to get some Christmas cards created, I chose the colours from the Merry Little Christmas suite – pages 10-13 of the Holiday Catalogue.
I love the contrast of the Black & Old Olive . It’s not quite modern, not quite traditional!!
This is my card using an eclectic mix of some of my favourite Stampin’ Up! products…
I love mixing and matching the items in my collection – it means you’re always sure to get an interesting finish.
Here you can see…
- Labels to Love stamp set
- Stitched Shapes
- Leaf punch
- Vellum
- Bouquet Bunch Thinlits
- Eclectic Layers Thinlits
- Old Olive Sheer Ribbon
- Black Mini Sequin Trim
- Rhinestones
I’m calling this one stylishly modern!
If you need a kick-start on the creative process, perhaps you’d like to choose a colour combination from one of the catalogues and join in our challenge. You can find us on Facebook. Click here to join the fun.
Next up on the hop is my gorgeous from in NZ – Sandra Collett.

I love your clustering of elements. Stunning card, and it’s so good to see these dies used for lots of different occasions
Beautiful Kelly, I would not have thought to use that background framelit for a Christmas card, but it works perfectly!!!
