I love celebrating with my team – any reason, any time!!!
I love that we are strong women, making a difference and having fun doing it!
Our team has really grown in size over the past 18 months – which is so exciting!
Stamping is different things to different people. Some are personal buyers – taking advantage of being able to buy all their favourites at a discount, some are breaking even on their crafting habit – which means they have a hobby they love without the cost, and some are making it into a business – and using it to pay some bills or buy some luxuries.
No matter what point everyone is at, we all have one thing in common – our love of Stampin’ Up! and a wonderful sense of friendship in belonging to a group of people who share our passion.
Mandy joined our Paper Adventures team during Sale-a-Bration in January this year and hasn’t looked back. She’s grown her own supplies, built a customer base and recently added a lovely new stamper to her team.
With all this success has come a promotion to Silver – I’m so happy for her!!!
Celebrations in my world means gifts. A silver title is a good opportunity to try out one of the products we have to look forward to in the Occasions catalogue – Silver Embossing paste!!!
The silver embossing paste started the background for Mandy’s card.
I added in Smoky Slate to coordinate with the silver. It contrasts beautifully with her favourite colour – Night of Navy.
Did you spy another sneak peek? The gorgeous floral stamp set will also be in the new catalogue. It’s called Petal Palette and it’s stunning!!!
The flowers aren’t hard to colour – I just swished an Aqua Painter over the ink already stamped on the flowers and filled in the white space! They have a splash of Wink of Stella too, but that wasn’t playing nice with the photography!!
I also wanted to make a keepsake gift for Mandy’s stamping space, so I added Stampin’ Up!’s catchphrase which so aptly sums up what we do to a candle holder.
A mix of silver & gold (there’s always something to aim for!) and a sweet smelling candle to add inspiration while she’s crafting.
A big congrats to Mandy and all her achievements this year. I can’t wait to see what next year holds for her!
If you Love it, Live it or want to Share it, we’d love to have you on our Paper Adventures team.
