Well, it’s here!! And we are here! Myself and 6 of my Paper Adventures team are in Melbourne for a weekend filled with fun, stamping and great friendships.
Today we enjoyed a marvellous brunch and saw the sights of Melbourne.
At brunch we shared team swaps. I know some of my team will blog their own creations, so I’ll leave that to them and just share what I gave out.
This weekend is going to be such a special memory, so I have created a little memory box using the Mini Pizza Boxes.
I thought it would be a great way to help them remember their OnStage experience. Thanks to iPhones, it’ll be easy to get some happy snaps while we are away.
And then an accordion fold in the middle ready for photos! The paper aeroplane is our team motif, so I have kept this cute stamp from a retired set for team projects!
I am so grateful for my team joining me in Melbourne (no mean feat to traverse the continent for a one day event), so I wanted to make them some gifts to commemorate our time together.
Nanna Papercraft is always on board with my crazy ideas and happily helped me to embroider these beautiful scarves with …. our aeroplane! Thanks Mum!
I thought a scarf was particularly fitting given Melbourne’s reputation for 4 seasons in one day! Hopefully we catch some nicer weather than they had earlier in the week for Melbourne Cup!
The scarf is protecting another gift – personalised water bottles!
I’ve been using my Cameo lots lately to add adhesive vinyl to glass & plastic items as gifts. Several of my team were commenting how much they’d like something made for them…. little did they know what I was scheming!!
There’s one for me too – I didn’t want to miss out!!!
A big thank you to my team for making this weekend so special!
If you see us at the event, please say hi! It’s going to be a great day!!!
I’m off now to the CentreStage event to see more of my demo friends, have a lovely dinner and get a sneak peek at the new catalogue.
There’s no sharing til next week though – my lips are sealed!!!
They are awesome memorable gifts Kelly! I bet they will all treasure the adventure and memories 😁
Soooo many people came up to us to tell us how awesome those bottles were! Love mine, thank you. And I can’t wait to fill my memory box with some of those awesome moments from the weekend.
