Oh my – check out this fortnight’s colour swatch for the newest Colour INKspiration challenge!
It’s both glorious & terrifying all at the same time – which makes it the perfect challenge.
I would have never put these colours together (and also confess to almost never using Always Artichoke!). There’s the option to add Wood Textures DSP for this challenge too.
The inspiration picture that the colours were selected from is divine!
My starting point for this card was a desperate need to release my cat punch from the plastic packaging! I bought it with great anticipation, and have been loving all the ideas I’ve seen on Facebook, Pinterest & instagram!
It was time to have a play myself!!
I started by creating a cat silhouette using the optional Wood Textures DSP, and then added some flowers inspired by the challenge photo & colours, which gave me this cute card…
I haven’t added a sentiment yet – I think I’ll leave it off until I decide who to give it to. Or, use it as an all occasions card!
I just love the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set & Bouquet Bunch Framelits for adding floral elements to cards.
And I’m not the only one! Check out some of the other ways the crew used it on this blog hop plus some more amazing projects.
Next up, you’re spending more time in Western Australia. Make sure you visit my gorgeous friend Nicole Wilson and her beautiful take on the challenge colours!
