Let me share the colours for challenge #19 with you – they are divine!!!
Yellow, gray & white is one of my all-time favourite colour combinations.
I admit, I don’t love the green in there (for the project I wanted to make) but the design team have used it as a wonderful contrast.
October happens to be an anniversary month for friends of mine.
And, by happy coincidence, their wedding colours were yellow & gray!
How amazing was the beautiful yellow bridesmaid dress I got to wear – total princess moment!
So, I’ve used this challenge to make a sweet anniversary card…
As a striking background, I’ve used the silver snowflakes in a repeated pattern.
The anniversary sentiment is courtesy of the Number of Years stamp set.
‘Anniversary’ was too long for the Classic Label punch, so I had to improvise using a pencil & template! It’s always fun to be creative with our cardmaking pieces!
As for Garden Green – I snuck it in for the ‘th’!
I would have been totally happy to leave it out – but the challenge rules made me hide it there!
This wasn’t the only anniversary card I needed to make for October. It seems October is a popular month for weddings amongst my friends!
Another set of friends are celebrating one sweet year together.
This is their card….
I made it to match the colours & styling of their wedding card.
The anniversary sentiment for this card came from the Milestone Moments stamp set. I love that font!!
Do you send anniversary cards to the couples whose weddings you’ve attended?
I’ve tried hard over the years, but since my record keeping system is scattered (and that’s a kind description!), they often sneak up on me!!!
A card in the mail is always wonderful, especially when it’s not expected.

That is all I have to share with you today!
Please continue the hop to see the fabulous project my gorgeous friend Lou Kitzelman has made using these colours…
Don’t forget, you can join in the challenge fun over on the Colour INKspiration Facebook group.
Thanks for hopping with us!

Gorgeous card and gorgeous girl! I love that you’ve used the snowflakes on a non Christmas card…very effective Kelly! xx
Princess Kelly you’re so sweet to send anniversary cards. You remind me that I should be sending more. Love both cards. Your little green hidden element doesn’t take away from the beauty of your yellow card. Great work
The photo of you is a perfect entry for the colour challenge! I love your cards, and I’m glad you told us where you snuck in the green. I was looking! Love this idea to send anniversary cards! It’s the one I don’t send. I think you’ve inspired me to be better and start this wonderful habit.
Just stunning Kel … love it when a colour challenge works in with the need for a card 😉
Wow! Your creation, and you in your gorgeous Daffodil Delight Bridemaid’s dress. I just love the Garden Green ‘th’. D xox
