Hello! Happy school holidays!
It’s the middle weekend of the holidays here and we’ve finally had sunshine in the last couple of days!
We’re still yet to hit what I would consider warm, but the fact that the sun is shining is a great start!
{Note the nice bright -natural – light for my photos!!!}
Welcome to a CASEing the Catty blog hop.
This talented team of designers are taking you on a creative journey that showcases how they’ve been inspired by the kits and Memories & More pages in the Annual or Holiday Catalogue.
We’d love for you to join in via our Facebook page.
I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve been sharing the virtues of this kit with my customers & friends, but I was drawn to the sample that we’ve used in the CTC graphic above!
The Watercolor Christmas Project Kit is fabulous.
It’s bright & fun without being silly and amazingly economical for a handmade Christmas card!
The kit is $35 (20 cards & gold lined envelopes!). You can buy the coordinating stamp set – or use Christmas stamps that you already own.
From now until the beginning of December, I am offering this kit for $35 – all made up and ready to send to your favourite 20 people this Christmas.
It’s the perfect offer for people who love handmade but doesn’t have the time or inclination to make their own cards this year.
Local delivery is included, or I can post Australia wide for $8.50.
If you’d like to order a Watercolor Christmas Kit (made for you, or so you can make it yourself), send me an email or contact me via my Facebook page.
Now, apart from the kit being a great option for cards this Christmas, those easy to replicate layouts are a perfect option if you want to design your own cards using the materials you have at home.
I’ve chosen the third card along in the picture – it’s one of my all time favourite layouts and I use it all the time!
That big white space seemed like the perfect option for the newest stamp in my collection – one that I adore – the so-so-cute reindeer from the Merry Patterns stamp set.
This exclusive stamp set is only available as a hostess reward during September & October 2017.
Want to add him to your collection? Gather your family & friends and collect orders of $450 or more and the Merry Patterns stamp set will be yours to own (see the end of this post for a complete graphic).
This card features the kit colour theme – Real Red, Emerald Envy & Basic Black.
If you’re ever not sure what the coordinating colours are for a kit or DSP, check back with your catalogue as the full colour range is always listed.
The Stampin’ Up! Online Store is also a great reference for current products.
Now, as cute as this card is, we all know I favour non-traditional Christmas colours for my cards.
So, I couldn’t resist another version in pink & gray, inspired by Lou Kitzelman’s Merry Patterns card for Colour INKspiration last week.
This is more my style!
Same cute reindeer….
Same embellishments!
Just a change up of colours – Sweet Sugarplum & Smoky Slate with Wood Textures DSP.
I also shifted the centrepiece down the card for a same-same-but-different variation.
Making cards in pairs like this is one of my favourite ways to add ‘more’ without more effort!
Which style do you favour?
Modern on the left, traditional on the right?
After my super long blog post today (still excited to be back sharing with you!), the next stop for CASEing the Catty is the gorgeous Rose Packer.
Thanks for hopping with us!
Merry Patterns stamp set – free with any $450+ order (before shipping) until October 31st 2017.
Traditional Reindeer Christmas
Modern Reindeer Christmas
Oh I love both of your cards! Isn’t the reindeer cute!
Well I am a bit of a traditional Christmas colours girl, but I really LOVE your modern version. It’s so cool to see them both pictured together. Awesome case and a wonderful layout.
Love them both, but that embossing folder really sets off the red! Cute cards, and good idea changing the offset – thanks for that tip x
Both cards are beautiful Kelly but I love the modern version the most
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous xx
Oh a fab couple of CASEs Kelly!
Great pair of cards – both different but both gorgeous!
Gotta love that jersey!
These cards are awesome Kelly. Love the pink one too!
