It’s a photo inspiration challenge at Just Add Ink this week.
Join us over at the Just Add Ink blog with your creation inspired by any element of this photo. It could be the hot air balloon theme, the colours, the layout, the trees, the water…. there’s so much to choose from!
I was inspired by the reflection of the balloon over the water, and used this to create {another} baby card!
To get a reflection of any stamped image, stamp it as usual on the cardstock. Then stamp again on Window Sheet and use this image to press under your first stamped image.
The second image will be a mirror image of the first, and lighter in colour, making it look like a reflection. To get the water ripple, I stamped the top part of the water stamp from the High Tide stamp.
I added Pool Party ink where the puddle formed and Dapper Denim ink on the onesie.
It’s a subtle finish, but I used the new Marbled background stamp, just to add a bit of texture under my centre panel.
The design team have created more beautiful projects to add extra inspiration this week! See all the creations over at the Just Add Ink blog.
You can join in the fun there too but adding your card to our gallery!
We love seeing what you create as much as you love seeing our creations!
