Daisies have totally been the hit of the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue.
So much so, that the punch is currently on ‘unorderable’ status while the factory goes into overtime making more!
Stampin’ Up! addicts bought the entire supply of punches twice over – a whole year’s supply in less than 2 months!
What Will You Stamp is featuring the stamp set this week, so it seems like a good time to get the daisies inky again.
I chose one of the beautiful new In Colors – Berry Burst – and combined the daisy centrepiece with stamps from the Wood Words stamp set.
The floral stamp coordinates fabulously!
I’ve stamped the daisy three times in Berry Burst and then Aqua Painted using Berry Burst again – but quite diluted to get a lighter shading.
For a three layer daisy, you need to line them up in thirds. If you try to fill the gap with the second daisy you’ll have nowhere to put the last one.
I love that the Faceted Gems fit so nicely in the middle of the daisy – it’s a great finish!
And the final flourish for my daisy was some tweaked & teased Copper Trim.
Have you tried this? It’s double layered, so simply cut through the side of the ribbon and then pull apart!!!
Do you love the daisy in this colour, or are you a traditional yellow & white daisy lover???
How wonderful is ink & paper – we can create all kinds of daisies!
I’ve got an idea brewing based on a book I’m reading at the moment…. let’s see if I can make it happen!

Such a gorgeous card Kelly. I love the triple layer daisy, perfectly surrounded by that fab background. Intrigued with what your next book-inspired idea will be! Can’t wait. Thanks for the tip on the copper trim. I have been teasing it but completely missed the trick of cutting through the side! Lucky I have you! Thanks for entering in WWYS? this week.
Gorgeous, Kelly! Thanks so much for joining this week’s challenge at What Will You Stamp. So glad you played!!!!
