Just Add Ink #361 – Choose Two

This week for Just Add Ink #361 there’s a choice!

You’ve got the power to two options that spark your creativity – flowers, washi tape or watercolour.

If you don’t like the choices, you can blame me!

I actually have 2 cards to share with you in this post.

I had an idea for this card and went along my merry way using the flowers from Awesomely Artistic and Washi Tape from the Floral Boutique set.

I stamped the flowers in Sahara Sand – same colour as the cardstock and wasn’t quite happy with them.

Without thinking, I added some *watercolouring*….

And then oh oh – I didn’t choose two, I chose all three!

So, back to the drawing board with *just* washi & flowers….

To avoid the watercolouring issue again, I changed the colour of the flowers to Night of Navy and added more washi tape (you can never have too much of a good thing!).

When I was first card making, I would have never make a card using a generic sentiment like ‘friend’.  I was a happy birthday kind of girl!

Now I love the options for all the different kind of sentiments!!!

As always, I can’t wait to see what you make for this week’s challenge.

Visit the Just Add Ink blog to see what the design team made and enter your card!

Which *two* will you choose???

  1. Ha ha, how funny broke the rules and used all three, naughty you! The result is stunning though! I love both cards, I need to CASE that composition.

  2. Ha…I did the same..:0) They are both beautiful Kelly, l especially love the bold Night of Navy on your second. These colours are a gorgeous combination and the hints of copper….Love! xx

  3. Two totally gorgeous cards, Kelly! Your washi looks super elegant and I adore your colour choices, the navy and sand with touches of copper is stunning! I’ve been on the fence with this stamp for a long time but you’ve inspired me to add it to the List – thank you 🙂 xx
